you have? then why attack Yugoslavia 1998? or Afghanistan 2001 and Iraq 2003, I doubt you have been trained to think about countries as entities upon themselves, becuse from Ameican foreign policy, it shows the opposite.

You clearly misunderstood what I said. Countries being entities upon themselves, think a being of its own. To Americans the United States of America is not merely an social organization of the people living within its borders. Its an entity unto itself. I don't know how else to clarify what I'm saying, but im not saying you shouldn't interfere with other countries, which seem to be your interpretation.

And Yugoslavia? Clinton had to fulfill his Nato obligations.

No, how they became so is irrelevant. They are now and that should be all that is worried about. The needs of the present supersede the problems of the past(and the future for that matter.)

what I meant was if the people living in Kosovo aren't the people of Kosovo, then why are Americans the people of America or Kenyans the people of Kenya? then they shouldn't get that "title" either, meaning in Americans case, you don't have a country ebcause you are not the "people of America"

First of all why in god name would anyone want to move to new jersey ?

Secondly thats a diffrent story, New yorkers and New Jersey....ers (Jesuits ?) are all americans. Most of the people of kosovo are ethnic albanians.

If they became New Jersey citizens, then the majority of New Jersey voted in favor, yes of course.

But even still thats a poor comparison. Don't hold the vote now. Wait till those immigrants have died and only their descendants remain. And these New Yorkers don't speak English, in fact lets say their entire culture is different than that of the standard New Jerseyian.

Yes I think they have every damn right to chose the government that rules them.

Well I do not support illegal immigration. And of course I would not support you trying to take advantage of self-determination.

Reduction to the ridiculous does not discredit something.

Another point though, a citizen of five years is just as much a citizen as someone whos family has lived there since the dawn of time. It is just as much their home.

What i am understanding here aside from Rush, is the general viewpoint is that since they want their own country they should have it? Reminds me similar to how mexico lost texas. Americans came in, became mexician citizens, then they wanted their own country. Does that honestly make any sense to you?
It is not the idea that a country is an entity as a whole, but rather the idea that countries are governed by the people. If 99% of group B wants to make their own country from group A's lands, wouldnt it make sense to also calculate in group A's opinions and percentages? 99% of group B may want to leave, but if group B was only 10% of the total population, and 70% of group A wants them to stay, thus shouldnt they stay?
If that makes no sense, let us look at it another way. I one day say the hell with the US, my home is now its own country. Everyone would consider me crazy and of course it would not be allowed. But why not? I represent 100% of the population in the area of my house, thus as my right i should be allowed to govern myself.

Exactly, so you have not problem with immigrant invasions, why give Kosovans are hard time about it? Because they're Muslim?

Sure I do . But its too late to give it back to the indians. Id be happy back in the Fatherland where my relatives originally came from.

This is assuming the Kosovan Albanians are immigrants to begin with, and knowing your track record on "facts" I doubt they are.

I post more facts than most here. If their not immigrants how can they be Albanians in Serbia?

Actually, we didn't just move here and it started being ours. We either bought the land for the crown of britan or militarily conquered it. The Kosovians have done neither. They either need to buy thier nation from the Serbians, or be able to defend themselves when they attempt to Ceed.
