Fitz Salnarville, Duke William's favourite knyghte,

Yes.
I think I shall not bother with instructions next time. It is clear than no one reads them.

I generally say "read the instructions" when people post for help anywhere but the support thread at our forums. If they could not read the simple directions as to *where* to post then I think it highly suspect they did not read the installation instructions properly either.
I just do not think people realise the colossal amount of time it wastes trying to help people who post, not only all over the place (even starting their very own personal threads) but also to ask questions that have already been anwsred. Probably every single problem anyone has ever had with installation could fit under five or so responses (usually they set the wrong install path or have not patched to BI 1.6 first).

if they ask somethign that isn't in istruction, dont answer
Bad luck Jerry, third time lucky, eh?
I'm sorry for inconvinience .Since ci is abbreviature for Corsair Invasion
I was not sure how to understand that FATW could match it ,and in first post there's mentioning about deleting previous FATW not CI.Now it is clear .
Thanks !
PS I've got inspired after video and was thinking about creating a fantasy unit .Mages ,to be exact, - take an archer unit ,clad in robes disable skirmish, and allow it only to use a fire arrows ability - it would look like they cast a fireball spell !

Master of None - to save yourself all the harrasment why not post a sticky thread entitled "INSTALLATION" and copy the install instructions in there and then close the thread.
hopefully it will be so obvious that they wont keep pestering you.

One installation-instructions post is preferrable as it saves having to go edit a dozen forums across the Net and endlessly update patch information.

hi guys,
just downloaded forth eorlingas (brilliant work, by the way) without realising this was released,
you should update thefourthage.org
do you have a patch download for people who already have Forth Eorlingas (sp?)?? or do i have to download from scratch again?
great work again guys,
The Vandal
MtC
Redownload from scratch. One of our coders messed up a bit but I think it's best anyway as it makes tech support easier to have everyone working from the same base.

Damn it my RTW Gold disk with BI is screwed; I only have RTW 1.5 on another disk. That sucks. Port this baby to RTW 1.5 or else....I'll....cry.
go on...cry

Playing my first campaign with Rhun, I can´t help but wonder about a few things. First, why should I recruit Rhun Spearmen? They´re less than the Warbands and, from their description, they lack the bonus when fighting cavalry. Much the same goes for Darkhelms and Axemen, basically they´re identical, and they even are recruited from the same building. So are the Great Axes, who not only can do everything the Darkhelms and Axemen can do, and do it better, but on top they have an anti-cavalry bonus. Basically, once you get them (and that will happen quickly, as they´re already availabe at a level three barracks) you need nothing else.
Oh, and the last level of barracks doesn´t give you any benefit troop-wise (it does give the public order bonus, though), as far as I´ve seen, experience from the barracks already tops out at level three barracks, which, I fear, will make Rhun a bit dull for a player (it might help the AI though).
