Hi what files do i need to change to make my own rtw map please help !!!

***i advice y to use the Map Editor (very easy for editing)

or.......the hard way.
1.You need photoshop for editing.
2.y will edit these files :

all the files in your : Data\world\Base and in : Data\world\Campaign\Imperial Campaign

map_heights
map_regions
map_climates
descr_strat
descr_regions_and_settlement_name_lookup
descr_win_conditions
descr_regions
.
.
.
imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names (Data\Text..)
****if you are a beginer dont try to do that until y have the needed experince

Note : always save a copy of the original files

thanks for that lord of the knights, but i have one more question how do i change (convert) it from sea to land, when i strat a new map its always set to sea thanks for all your help dude!!

Can you be more specific? Are you adding more land? And are you deleting the map.rmw file?

Remember, do some tests first where you make small changes, then once you feel comfortable, jump on into making your own map.
