    lol dsl is soooo bad, its a poor mans cable. Anyhoo i dl'ed this in under 10 min no problems.

    Is it intentianal that cavalry destroy any unit very easily. There animations have been quickened so now they just tear right through units, even spearmen. Im only in the early age but do high level spearmen get any better at defending against cavalry or do they get slaughtered just as easily?

    Totally love the new loading screens, they may seem unimportant but I think it really adds to the atmosphere!

    Wow, this mod looks really good. I was pretty much blown away by all features. Stainless Steel might just be my new favorite mod. Nice work SS team.

    KK i saw thre in the mod that you did concerns about the fans. for example colour of the byzantium faction, and the eventss(mi lord the capital venice have been fallen to the enemies ) i love that i love it !

    I'm having a fun Egyptian campaign so far, a Jihad was called on Jerusalem and then a Crusade a turn right after. Needless to say I'm fighting off hordes of Catholics.

    KK, thank you so much for adding Desert Raiders to the Islamic rosters, they need some better units IMO.

    Can't wait til I get my Mamluks mwahaha.

    Hi, I'm a troll. Yes I registered just to lodge a complaint. I'm very disappointed. I really do love 3.2 but there's a slight problem with 4.0 that I haven't seen anyone address. That is the titanium weapons and armor that general's bodyguards have, oh yes, and the super Benoit testosterone levels. Yea, 30 of them shouldn't be able to chew thru 3 units of Italian spear militia from a dead stop.

    By whatever metric you wish to measure it, realism or gameplay, this sucks. I used to enjoy playing The Long Road until I realized that there was an invisible field of death surrounding each bodyguard. Not only did they only have to graze past a unit at about 5 kph to kill a dozen or so soldiers but 13 of them could take out 60 Viking raiders holding their ground. I don't care if it's 60 peasants, a dozen horses shouldn't be able to kill them all in 3 seconds.

    Is this a part of the Darthmod additions? I'm a fan of a lot of his works but his philosophy of cav pwns all and his replacing all missile weapons with 1/16 scale replicas shouldn't be implemented here. Really, why should I use anything other than my faction leader in any battle? I can only imagine what he can do at three gold.

    I hope that you were so busy making this mod (on your own and I respect that) that you were unable to playtest this edition. And what's the deal with catching scurvy after two turns in a boat? Great loading screens but why fight any battles?
