can`t start the game

i have the original version of the game, and after i installed the RTJ mod, i can`t start the game, the same when i want to start the vanilla version,-it says please put the original disk in.. but the original disk is in the drive!!!

what can i do?

well by you saying that you installed the original version of the game, i can only asume you forgot to install the 1.2 patch for the game before installing the mod.

thats the only likely cause if thats the case. this mod update is for 1.2

Do you have any other modification or crack used? That sounds like an error associated with a no-cd crack. At any rate, try reinstalling the game. I know its a pain and that patch takes FOREVER to install but that is the only guaranteed fix I know of.
