    no, after starting another campaign, everything's fine

    mmh maybe wrong thread, but i have a suggestion: is it possible to instert some hint into unitdescriptions, which says what units are upkeep-free inside towns, and which are not o_O

    anyway you guys are doing a great job, i really like the recruitment system

    I canīt recruit Jerusalem Guards, I have the Outramer Knights but i think that are different units
    Is these a bug?
    Where are the "Conquistadores" īcause i donīt see in the descr_buildings?

    Oh yeah, Jerusalem Guards are the Internal name for the Outremer Knights. Changed it at the last minute. So they're the same.

    Conquistadores? Uh-oh...looks like I left them out of the EDB.

    gigantus? Where are you?!?!?!

    I think in vanilla you can only recruit Conquistadores in the Americas. Not for sure but its what i've heard.

    EDIT: Personally I think only recruiting them there is a bit wierd for me (I know they had to be trained in Spain). It should be up to the player to decide where to use them. It would be cool to take the Holy Land or territory in North Africa with Conquistadores.

    According to the EDU you can get the Jerusalem guards only in Jerusalem (as the name says). Will have to come back on that.
    Have to include them in the next update of 'AoR update'. Thanks for pointing it out. Seems I didn't include the Americas in the latest edition.


    Edit:
    All the Jerusalem guys need the 'Mail_Armor 1 event
    Conquistadores are now included in the latest AoR update (1.3)

    Here is an Easter egg: got these units when I swapped Lyon for Rheims with France.
    Looks like bodyguards without a body to guard.



    They saw action as part of 'Kampfgruppe Rheims' which was the AI reinforcement for Gilbert the Wrathful when he broke out of the siege of Paris against the Kaiser's finest.

    Swiss Guard - Who gets them?

    The answer is Papal States or Patrimonium Sancti Paetri.

    May be more missing units, the Polish Nobles from the 1.3 version, can throw javelins.
    Where are this unit?

    I can recruit Feudal Sergeants (for the Spaniards) nor Arab Guard?
    Missing units or changeling names units -like the Jerusalem Guards?
    And the sergeants of outremer? where are these troops? I only can recruit knights and dismounted knights of outremer

    I thought i'd chime in and mention a small bug I noticed in my Portugal campaign. I'm currently at war with the HRE and I've noticed that they are already recruiting Forlorn Hope units. It is currently only 1190 and heavy mail is the latest technology, but they have plated units walking around. Just a small problem I've noticed. Good luck and thanks for the mod!

    There will be others advanced units for sure These are the only available in the beginning.

    * Edit: there are repetitions in almost all availability units list for barraks
    The aim was to force each faction to recruit according to the "Area of Recruitment" instead of having the same recruits from Oslo to Timbuktu (Woodsmen recruited in Timbuktu sounds kind of corny, doesn't it?).

    Forlorn is available to HRR at the highest level barracks and after the 'Heavy Mail' event. See EDB.
    Socal might have to change this. Or should I?

    In fact i've used your descr_buildings and this is fixed
    However i don't agree on removing all units from papal_states I'm working on fixing that and, if Socal_infidel is still alive, i'll wait him for releasing my BigMap

    Socal, i know what it means having no free time for work
    What i don't know is speaking english

    I'm still alive. Pardon my absence from the boards - not as prolific as I have been!

    Work's been keeping me busy lately during the day. And at night, I'm busy working on the new factions. Takes up a lot of time, as I'm new to Photoshop and skinning/modelling! But I'm getting the hang of it slowly but surely!

    I might even post some screens sometime this week of the next new faction!!

    Thanks again to everyone who's posted and keeping discussion going! Really appreciate it. I read all the posts even if I don't get a chance to post a reply right away!

    Open the EDB and search for 'barracks italy'. There you will see that the pope can recruit all the units the other factions in Italy can. In fact the 'papal guard' is a surplus for the pope.
