RTR 1.9 is lagging

Hello everybody,
Great work you did with this mod but I have a problem with RTR Platinum 1.9.
In battles the graphics slow down much, I have a lot of lag so the game is unplayable. I have a 2.6 Pentium, 768MB RAM, GeForce FX with 128MB.
The strange thing is that RTW Vanilla and RTR Gold 6.0 run smoothly at high graphic settings, so I really wonder why It does not work with Platinum. I just could use Gold instead, of course, but I really want the usefull mod switcher.

I'd be glad if somebody could help me and excuse my not native English

It may be because of the amount of ram you have and gfx card.

Did u run the "Vanilla_Grass_settings" optional add on? It helps with fps problems. (or just set vegetation to the lowest setting)

RTR Gold and RTR PE should have same performance....becouse all graphic is same in RTR Gold and RTR PE.

Herpes (great name btw) got the solution:
Switching grass off all runs smoothly even with other options higher.
Where do I find the "Vanilla_Grass_settings"? Haven't found it in the installation menu where you can choose other optional addons.
