It says it will that 10 minutes, but it always goes on for over an hour before I try to get it to stop and it crashes. Then I check and it STILL HADN'T FINISHED PACKING.

Screw this. I tried it again and everything worked fine, so I was happy. Then I start up MTW2 and it crashes. I try it again. Crashes. I'm through trying to get this piece of **** to work.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm no expert, all I know is this works for most people, including myself. I really don't know why it doesn't work for you, and there is little I can do to help you other than offer the solutions that have previously proven to be successful. Packing has not been an issue for others, as far as I can recall.
