Default Amazing/how did he do that?

Check our this amazing video. The creator is sin329.

Question: Check our seconds 47-53. See the protection that the Turkish canons have. Those moveable wooden walls (which probably would have actually appeared in the Medieval period), how did he do that?

This video is so cool, and I hope that sin329 continues his amazing work. You can also check out this video (which has been posted in the forums before. It is also by sin329).

I believe they are in the code but not in the game (probably cut late in production). I saw a tutorial on one of the forums on how to reactivate them. Don't have the link though...

hmm, i don't seem to ever get those kill animation however often i hint
    "Ins" to zoom in?

is there a graphical option setting? that i missed? or should i use minimal interface would that help?

all i see in most of my battles is just 2 groups trying to stab at eachother unconvincingly.....

Nice video, very entertaining. Modding questions belong in the Mod Workshop btw.

I didn't specifically want to know how to do it (since I don't know how to mod), it was just a general question, hence the reason I put it in General Discussion.

It doesn't matter. "How did he do it" is a modding question and I want to keep the general discussions free of anything to do with mods/modding as much as possible.

I didn't see the videos, but I'm quite sure you're talking about the wooden stakes.

This feature is in the code. It can be added to the unit's attributes in the export_descr_unit file.

I don't know the exact parameter right now, but something like deploy_stakes...

Actually I think he's talking about the palisade kind of thing you could see in one of the demo battles (forgot which one). Could be that thing is available in the battle editor.

No thing is everything. Every thing is nothing.

Those wooden walls are part of the 'Gulay Gorod', a russian unit that carried these walls. A tutorial by kingofserbia explains how to get them to function. I experiemented with them but found them to be of little use in battle.
