Hey bump question,I know but still....is theire any posible way that I can have more mods on my computer simultaniously???....Ca's they're very adictive and tempting all of them...but I'm kind of lazy so I reather take a sleep then to uninstall and reinstall again and again and again.

I personally keep a clean version of RTW 1.2 and also RTW 1.5 BI 1.6 in separate folders which I use as a base for each mod I install.

Simply create a new mod folder. Copy contents of the require clean copy of the game into the folder. Apply patch to new folder and play.

I've made a download of the RTR 6.2 Music-Addon, 'cause I really liked it in the full Version of RTR V.1.7!

1 Can anybody tell me if this Music-Addon works with that ModSwitch-Version of RTR V1.9?
2 In which folder should I install it?
3 Will it overwrite the Battle-Music (I think it's the only Music in the ModSwitch-Version)

When do you get this message? Have you double clicked the icon on the desktop or something else.

Which version of RTR are you playing? The mod switch version or the stand alone one.

Which executable are you using to play the game? (RomeTW, RomeTW-BI or RomeTW-Alex)

One question. Does the mod switch version still have and use the new media that is in the normal version, or does it use what comes with vanilla RTW?

Well from what I've heard, RTR has new skins and units not in the original RTW and I was wondering if the mod switch version used them.

Of course... what else would it be about? What it doesn`t have are the intro movies. In terms of units and such it`s the same thing as the simple version of RTRPE.

The modswitch version seems to be the only installer that works any more. I like the fact that it doesn't overwrite the BI files.

the mod switch version is in its own mod dir called "RTRPE". no overriding of any rtw files.

No. If you want to install both in the same game folder they both need to be mod switch compatible(install in their own sub-forums and not overwrite any vanilla files).

I was wondering.. when an update gets released does the system requirements for the game get higher?(when the update is installed, offcourse.)
I havent played on a while this game and i thought ill try it out. So i followed instructions and it works but...(there's allwas a but, hehe)
The loading screen is shown for about 3 secs then the whole screen gets black except the loading bar, it remains white. This happens when i launch the game and when i press to start a new campaign. Now here's the real problem i got:
When i start a new campaign the screen goes dark as I described above then for a couple of seconds I can see the mouse cursor and then it shuts down to desktop. So is that because my pc isn't good enough or is it a bug?
I used to play the v6.0 golden a year ago so I know i can play the game but I dont know if this 1.9pe is to much for my pc to handle?
I did a clean install, installed patch 1.2 then 1.3 and 1.5 from their website, then i downloaded this modswitch version and I had no errors during install at all either. I do adjust the game for low quality to get faster speed. my pc req are amd 2600+ 256ram and a 64mb geforce4. I know my pc can play this game since I used to play it often a long time ago. All help highly appreciated . Thats all i can think of that can help describe my problem.
