Not 100% sure, but 1 thing I do know about RC is that it goes by a class system

Unit cost is based on class, so are attack bonuses ect

for example, all peasant upkeep units will cost, say, 100
    all militia upkeep 150
    knights, etc, etc
    all militia

Same with weapons, units with swords will all have the same base damage, but if its a knight it'll get something like +1 dmg and faster attack cooldown, peasants will get -1 damage and attack speed penalty, I guess militia would be neutral.

I'm sure there's alot more to it, but thats one thing that really stood out, that I really liked.

found the thread about it. Looks really interesting actually

I'm becoming more and more intrigued about the possibility of using UAI, UBAI and RC. Especially since UAI/UBAI already take advantage of RC

The only bit of work I can foresee is converting KK's extra units to this RC scale or something.

Gonna have a play around for the weekend, then maybe I'll experiment with it

Let me know how it goes (specifically how it plays), at this point I feel like I have too much time invested in making DM sweet for SS to jump ship, but ultimately I want whats best.

Yeah I feel the same, but I do have a lot of respect for GV's work, so who knows. Either way, I'm gonna have a beer before even thinking about it

    orly? Well thats fantastic news!!~!!

I'm gona keep balancing SS+DM to my liking, and I'lll implement the changes into SS4.0(with RC!!) I've grown fond of realistic cavalry physics and such.

Yeah I read about RealCombat a while ago. It sounds very interesting and a lot of thought has gone into it.

I think it is great that you guys are trying to implement different combat mods into SS, it means that when KK comes to decide what he prefers all he has to do is test them, it should also help the community find the strengths and weaknesses of each mod - and improve them.
