Username, You all know him. One of our best posters! I cannot even dream of saying no.

Hmmm I think that a civitate post will change his mind like that zsamurai* . Besides if you believe what everyone says in this forum ,is same with his true beliefs I think you are wrong.

More over, he supposedly said think when I declared my exit from the forums as protests. At a time, I may remind you when emotions ran high and we werent nearly as ordered and structured as we are today. The dark ages you might call it.

Now we have ways of controlling the idiots and he knows this ( I explaind it to him) and the forums are in much better shape. I can totally understand his opinion, there are few of us here that post well, the rest I am afraid are the bigoted idiots he spoke of.

Id hate to lose another tremedous and brilliant poster (not that we will) and I especially would like to see him take more stock in teh forum with this position, as you can be sure he will not only be a contributing member but also a participant in our democracy .

uh, I don't think he's posted since I told him to either stop flaming or take his business elsewhere. http://www.legiontotalwar.com/forums/index...?showtopic=1436

Furthermore, I refuse to accede to his demand that mods must censor and tailor each topic to the topic-starter's wishes.

Furthermore, username was THE source of most of the flame wars started or in existence since I started modding.

I don't usually vote in these civitate elections and am willing to leave the decision up to you guys. But in this case I vote no, no, a thousand times no.

Maybe some of the facts you report morble may change the course of the voting, but I don't think that this should become an obstacle to his fully deserving curia vote. Besides his knowledge and sourses are an excellent contribution to the quality of our forum. And don't forget that noone is perfect...

I'm not asking for perfection, I'm asking not to address other members as "stupid", "arrogant", "ignorant", "fool", and the like. I have spent MUCH more time correcting flames that started with username than all other members combined.

But if you do make username a civitate, you had better create provisions for removing civitates. Because, if he comes back, he gets one warning and edit (he's already had three warnings, and even more edits). After that, I'm gonna start deleting his entire posts. He wants to be a dick; I can be a bigger one. But I'm sure as hell not going to be his babysitter.

Finally, notice how the boards have settled down now that he's left. In general, everyone tries to behave themselves and respect each other unless provoked--and it was username doing the provoking.

no, no, a thousand times no
...at least until I see that he can behave himself.

I ran a post check on Username- the last time he posted was actually last night, December 31st, in the Greatest Invention of the Milennium Thread. Aside from that, he hasn't posted since December 9th.

I don't want people to believe I'm defending username...besides I agree that he flames a lot and is not that active, but none of his post is spam and all are a sign of a thinking man who thinks first and then writes...

i voted yes. We may disagree at times, but he is a clever fellow. He DOES believe he is correct always, but I feel he has ggod arguements. If he is condescending, then we shall tell him so. He is a worthy choise.

My time here has ended. The time of the syntigmata has ended. Such is how these things are, and I accept it. In the several years I was a member of this forum, I fought for what I considered to be the most beneficial actions to enrich the forum. I regret none of my actions, and retain my personal honor and integrity.

    Remember this?--

    Ratification and Amends
The ratification of the articles above mentioned are to be passed by a majority vote. The amends of any and all constitutional issues must be presented publicly and voted on by the Civitates and Curators in the Curia, all which carry a single vote.
    - All votes will be ratified by a 25 vote count unless otherwise deemed by the Triumvirate, or until the time limit expires.
    - When voting on Praetors and Quaestors issues, the whole Curia most vote, and the total number of Curators will equal the votes needed.
    - In any voting, the time span duration will be exactly 168 hours.
    - A margin of at least 50%+1 must be reached to pass a vote. a 50-50 vote is considered null and must abide by the Syntagma guidelines for a revote.
    - On the issue of re-voting and recounts, only one try, so make it count. People who post votes in the Curia that have been posted before without the Triumvirate will be warned once, on a second offense, the account will be deleted. This is a strong point because this is our government, it is important and not to be fooled around with.
    Remember this?--

    - A margin of at least 50%+1 must be reached to pass a vote. a 50-50 vote is considered null and must abide by the Syntagma guidelines for a revote.
If you're just going to make shite up as you go, why bother with pretend voting?
5-3 is not a majority vote by your syntagma.

yes, but there is a time limit to votes, 168 hours. Im not makign shitee up as I go along....
