Default How to I change sounds?

I have extracted my sound files with the IDX extractor, so I can play them. But after changing some, how to I get the game to use mine instead of the IDX/dat files? Are there text files I need to edit? And is there a folder I need to put the mp3's in or something?

    See this thread:

The tutorial is about adding musics but it is the same for the SFX and voices.

    Additionally 2 tips:
    - If you have a new faction, don't forget to add it to the file in the folder "data\world\maps\base" and called "descr_sounds_music_types.txt". If you don't do it, you won't hear the musics if you play the new faction.
    - If you added mounts, don't forget to put the "descr_mount.txt" into your main data directory before rebuilding the files.
