    Sounds like the Tomcat towards the end. Well...except that it's 30 instead of the 50 the F-14 needed. Pretty bad stuff.

    Are they looking at a replacement? Edit: Oh...Wiki mentions something called the CH-148.

    Because it's airframe, avionics and engines are all from 1963. They're damn old. It's becoming increasingly hard to maintain and them and spare parts are hard to come by. That is why the SeaKings need 30 hours of maintenence for every hour of flight.

    MBM: Yes but the F-14 Tomcat is a classic jet interceptor. The SeaKing is just... troublesome.
