From skimming the forum, I've gathered that there's no normal campaign in N2. Therefore, what do you actually do in the mod? Is it only made for custom, historical and MP battles?

Also, which files do I download? There's a full_waterloo and patch_austria on your site, but you talk about Borodino and stuff - I'm confused.

The mod is meant for MP battles.
Borodino is an old release, so to be compatible with the MP community you need to download and install the following (by this order):
1) Full waterloo install
2) Austria patch

MP experience is great, so I really recommend it.

A good deal of this is older material and news stories.

It is for MP gameplay. There has always ben a small cadre of folks who play NTW and have continued to play it though all of its modifications.
