changing age rates
how do i change the rate of character aging to suit what i choose as the time scale?

I am not totaly sure but I think you simply cannot do that. But if you put "0.5" as time scale, your characters will age correctly. However, the game will become extremely long by doing this.

then is there a way to trick the game to make a character become immoral and never die of age?

im not sure but bear with me...
go into ur MIITW data folder (where RTJ is installed)
then open the 'desc_campaign_db.xml'
find the section labelled something like families
this section contains many values that depict how long characters live in terms of turns and ages of fertility etc
if Rammstien needs any help with this ask Zapppa who is currently perfecting his death mod-----just a thought for 3.0
