King's Banner 2.0

Welcome to the King's Banner mod thread.

This is my mod for Medieval II: Total War. I hope you like it and give me feedback.

This mod adds over 130 new main banners, many new upgrade banners and over 300 new shield textures for Medieval 2.

Every one of the large factions have received new banners, please see full list below.
I've also created a system which will allow more banners for each faction than was available in vanilla.

I've tried to make all textures as historically accurate, as was possible. So if you see
something wrong or have any suggestions, tell me.

Has anyone been able to implement bdotward's banner settings (size, bouncing) from the last thread without losing the larger faction and rank banners?

I love using the shorter poles just not at the expense of these glorious banners

Yes, more then you have seen.

Yes. The poles are shorter. i've made them 35% smaller.
It looks fantastic.

No, i've made only the factions from vanilla. maybe the turkish (selcuk) comming soon as an update.

Oh? I thought it was just a bunch of custom "banner" I didn't download it cause I never use banner. I thought they were annoying since I clearly have the unit card on the bottom of my screen.

Nice work man. joedreck, what's with the included edu.txt file? What changes did you make in there? I'm also curious about the included unit model textures, not the shield textures but the rest. Will it conflict with burrek's textures?

I'm afraid it will. So I myself didn't use them.

I use a mix and match of burrek's and this mod's textures: horse textures from this mod, infantry use burrek's. The Danes' unit roster has become pretty colorful, I can assure you!

I second Trajan's question regarding the EDU.
