Shannon Briggs vs Sultan Ibragimov fight is 8 days away.
I'd like to know what everyone thinks of the outcome.
Can Briggs defend his title? Or will all the HW belts be held by Europe once again?
I think both fighters are great but it is a little early for Sultan. He simply does not have enough experience. Then again that's what people said about Chagaev when he faced Valuev. So we'll have to wait and see.

I think Briggs was trying to avoid fighting Sultan. I have seen Sultan beat huge men, much bigger than himself. I think he would beat Briggs. I think he has plenty experience.
Sultan is my favorite boxer atm.
It has been surmised, that perhaps, my lord had become like a wild animal that had been kept too long. Perhaps, but whatever... freedom... so long an unremembered dream, was his.

Yes he has beaten Whitaker(272lbs) by TKO while he was only 220lbs. So the size may not be much of a factor.

Exactly I saw that fight and he took hard punches and outlasted Whitaker who was ready to fall until they ended it.

well, Ibragimov won, so all of the belts belong to eastern europe once again.
