It is extremely critical that they remove capture points from open field battles. They render all flexible and ranged units useless. Flexible units like cavary becomes useless because it is designed...
  5. Poll: Re: Petition: Option to remove capture points and add family tree in next patch

Capture points on open fields need to go. They make a mockery of tactics, strategy, ranged weapons and cavalry - everything that is not MEANT TO BE static
  6. Re: Regular updates inbound! First patch coming Friday

Very wrong. The whole point of cavalry and ranged units is flexibility. They can't win in a static stand off.
  7. Re: This game still has so much potential...

The whole point of engaging in battle on open fields, for both opponents, is flexibility. I don't know on what occasion IRL you would have to stand your ground in the midst of a desert.
  8. Re: This game still has so much potential...

This is for the most part spot on. If CA could address all these issues within short time we have a game that can compete with Rome I.

The capture points feature on open fields is insanely stupid....
  9. Re: Your top three issues with RTW 2 (constructive criticism)

    1. Performance

    2. Fugly 3D advisors

Re: Rome I and Rome II comparison

That's not the pont. One would expect tha after ten years of game developing, 2013 graphics on medium is actually better than 2004 graphics on high. Guess I was wrong.
I can run it on ultra

These are my cents ater four hours of playing. It's by no means a broken game. However, the huge expections after Rome I made me dissapointed about the following. The graphics presented in low and...
