While that's true, to get a properly historical composition you usually do it in 1 legion and 1 socii legion. Right now my forces over the entire campaign (only ever being recruited in the Italian...
Food doesn't seem to affect population growth. In Cisalpina I have -3 food and in Italia I have 9 food, the population growth in the food section is the exact same for both.
Yeah I think the population system needs a proper guide for it as it doesn't have a proper in built interface like province wealth or trade system etc
a couple of things I've noticed is when...
Not sure if it's all hoplites or just this one (I know phalanx are fine as I played macedon for a bit), but when out of Phalanx these guys have better melee attack/defense than when in phalanx.
...
Not sure if this is a bug or a design choice, but fatigue doesn't seem to affect units anymore. I have a fresh principes fighting an exhausted Golberi Curoas (Gallic Mercenary Sword Band) and there...
So if I have, say, 2 elite units (by elite I mean noble/citizen 1 requiring) and the rest requiring citizen 3, and there are not enough nobles to replenish the 2 elite units, my entire army won't...
Glad it's not just me finding early game difficult.
@Napoli23 They both are. I've played as both.
Playing as Macedon (not sure if it's the same as other factions), I'm trying to replenish my troops but have not enough nobles for my phalanxes....
Gotta be putting feedback from my Atropatkan campaign in here and just editing the post.
Currently seems to be no reason to build the Fire Altar in the shrine tree. Tower of Silence gives +4 PO,...
Hey mate, if you're playing 1.2, the game has changed quite a bit since then re: economy. Most factions have a much reduced "phantom" income, meaning that pretty much all economy is tied to buildings...
I've also noticed that with phalanxes, for what it's worth. Playing as Parthia my units will stay until they're over half dead (these are levies, being shot at by horse archers and literally doing...
Also noticed this. Another thing, with hoplites, they seem to have skirmisher under highlightings (when you press space or right click and drag to set a formation). Makes it really hard to see where...
Pretty sure he's talking about the fact that in a phalanx you get a melee attack negative (when the icon says a melee attack & defense positive from the front)
Playing as Baktria. Got a mission to recruit an army, the buff has flavour text but no actual bonus to it (at least in the tooltip).

Does anyone know the unit names of the units that were added in 1.1? I can't seem to find them in the patch notes and don't know how to compare the differences between the latest release where this...
How does the unit cap work? Is there a way to up it in-game? I am one territory away from RD and I only have 2 stacks.
Gonna try installing it to my SSD I guess, see if that fixes it.
Changed the location, did the Sifonia thing and it still sounds like muskets.
Dunno how to quote the post I want to quote, but...
They sound like they're shooting matchlocks. So I was wondering if there's a fix for this anywhere? Sinfonia Semplice doesn't seem to work (it can't find my dir, it's on another drive).
Having the same problem here. Anyone know what's up?
Could we get a naval only version for the fully updated version?
Thanks.
So how'd the Rebellion go? Did you actually become Emperor like CA said we could, or are you still just a bunch of generals?
