  1. Re: Is Epirus meant to be doomed from the start?

In the Games I've played so far (Amazing mod by the way :thumbsup2)

Unless I'm next door to them, like Macedon or Rome, they seem to do alright.
They hold on. They do have some see-saw battles...

It was a faceless man at Astapor. Sent by the warlocks at Qarth.

Yes the guy sent by the Iron throne was an amateur. Yes I think it's commented in the books that they didn't want to spend as much...
  3. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 4 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

That was a faceless man. But i think it was the warlocks from Qarth who sent him.
He apologised as he gave it to her, which is what they do
  4. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 4 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

He'll get shafted anyway. The producers hate Stannis and have a huge crush on Dany.

Re: (0.8) Legendary Campaigns - Rome and...

Macedon would get my vote. It's a tough start if you get dogpiled
  9. Re: Rome actually does something in patch 0.8! :)

Though I have seen in some games a faction creating an alliance with another AI and them dominating the area together and in others they hate each other and fight each other.

  10. Re: Rome actually does something in patch 0.8! :)

In the last game I played as Macedonia pre 0.8 Rome took Apollonia with a huge stack.

I have seen them do quite well in other games but usually they fail to wipe out the Etruscans and it costs...

I'm the same. As long as the graphics aren't too bad it doesn't bother me.

I still play half life 1 mods and such that are way over 10 years old and it's fine

As for this game. It's alot...

    Re: Rome 2 humour thread

It's not really new. Pretty much all big name reviewers are coerced/bribed into giving a good review for a bad game if it's by a big publisher or developer.

Isn't there a pretty infamous case of a...

Re: Most Essential Mods for Rome 2

I downloaded radious to try after i hadn't played it since before the seleucid patch.

I hated it. It just wasn't as in depth and phalanxes were so weak.

So i changed back right away

She may of been only a roommate. But its still someone she knew and lived with. Knox claimed to be friends with her but everyone who knew them says they were far from it.

I am a medical professional and i have had some contact with sociopaths.
I wouldn't say its concrete or a diagnosis but she certainly displays at least some sociopathic tendancies.
  19. Re: Amanda Knox Guilty ("for realsies this time" says italian court!)

It can be easy to be biased on preconcived notions. But I don't feel that is the case here. I didn't really think one way or the other until the documentary showing all the evidence. Her behaviour is...
  20. Re: Beasts of Balls DLC = Quick funding strategy...desperation???

It's quite obvious that certain "features" that have been left out are going to be added into as a DLC. Such as family trees. CA will claim they didn't have time to add them.

    Whereas you look at...

  22. Re: Amanda Knox Guilty ("for realsies this time" says italian court!)

I'm not saying she should be convicted based on her behaviour but it is interesting. She displays sociopathic behaviour which is a possible explanation of what her motive would be
  23. Re: Amanda Knox Guilty ("for realsies this time" says italian court!)

The big PR campaign is no coincidence to try to keep her in the US. But her lack of emotion is a bit concerning
  24. Re: Amanda Knox Guilty ("for realsies this time" says italian court!)

  25. Re: Amanda Knox Guilty ("for realsies this time" says italian court!)

There was a very interesting documentary on BBC3 in the UK last night.
It went through all the evidence and controversies of the case.

While there isnt any "slam dunk" evidence against her to...

I always got that feeling too. It was far better as a "Is he or isn't he" story. 2nd season was alright but it seemed very overrated to me.

I'm watching the 3rd season but im not that hopeful.

Maybe that's why they keep losing. They are pretty much the same as Labour.
