  1. Re: Buying and Selling Region/Cities must be back

I don't think I've ever even seen the AI exchange regions in any game except ETW.
  2. Re: Concerning the trading of regions.

I've never seen any issues like this in Empire, but I have also never played it without mods.

But I do not think this issue would be as prevalent in Rome II or Attila. In Empire, there was barely...
  3. Re: get rid of mandatory generals in custom battles?

I have not noticed a significant reduction in small stacks. The AI usually builds one or two large armies, and then just recruits generals with a few militia units until it runs out of army slots.

I love the CKII soundtrack. My favorite track is the one that plays when you first start up the game. It's just perfect.

Yes, but even then I wish he had more variety. I like a few of the battle tracks in Empire, but where is the more martial stuff? It's all strings and orchestral pieces. Epic ones, to be sure. Where...

    Poll: Music

Rome 2 has pretty awful music.

Alright, granted, maybe that is a bit harsh. The tracks are not terrible. But they have problems. They do not fit well with the game, there is not enough variety,...

Re: 40 unit stack option in TWA

The problem is that more men in a unit, and eventually, more units in an army, will actually break the game.

Even if your computer is capable of rendering 50,000 men on screen at once, the game's...

Re: 40 unit stack option in TWA

That's not how it was in FotS though. It was regular 20-unit stacks. You could reinforce with another 20-unit stack to have 40 units total in a battle, but you can do that in Rome II as well.

    Re: Blacks as Roman Generals?

Were there historically any black Roman generals?
  12. Re: Fort (with upgrades) and the passes (gates) through mountains in TW ATTILA

Empire had the best forts. They took time to build, had names, and could be upgraded to different levels. If Empire's sieges weren't so damned broken, they would have been great.

Re: How to fight as Parthia

Barbarians are easiest to fight against, as Parthia, because they lack many of the most dangerous units that the other factions have. They don't have piked, they don't have dangerous horse archers or...

Re: Everything that wasn't in Rome 2 that should be in Attila

    Pleeeeease.

I absolutely hate this current system. I lost a unit of swordsmen in battle, and had to recruit a new one in my home province, which is right next to the province I was conquering.

  20. Re: Tomorrow we have an interview for the new Total war game, taking your questions!

Will you be expanding upon the naval aspect of the gameplay in any meaningful way?

Will army stances make a return?

It controls just as it would normally control. Now your infantry line is bigger, and you have more cavalry to flank with. It's not a hassle, especially if you pause and/or group your units well.
