I have a bunch of alpha keys to trade!

If you're interested, send me a PM and I will give you my Steam account. I accept CounterStrike: Global Offensive keys, but I like game or Steam inventory item offers as well.

    Cheers!

  5. Re: Warhammer: Magic & Creatures vs Total War Armies

Hang on, this topic is far more subtle than you're making it out to be. One of my problems with Total War is that the higher difficulty settings always unreasonably empowers computer units to...

What ever happened to TEd 2?

Weren't we promised a release of TEd 2 for Atilla? I looked through my Steam tools and I see that while the Assembly Kit has been released, TEd 2 isn't there...

    Re: Mitch joins CA

Congrats, but does this mean the Populus mod is now dead? Could it perhaps be released in an official patch?
  8. Re: Warhammer: Magic & Creatures vs Total War Armies

I've always advocated randomness in Total War. The series has so far been too determinate. Elite units will always, without a chance otherwise, defeat weaker units. Cavalry will almost always get...

Re: Can TWCenter members challenge CA?!

You're giving it far too little credit, as the battle system and mechanics are pretty much a replica of Empire and Napoleon's battles. The way units function feels exactly the same. And the sprites...

Re: Can TWCenter members challenge CA?!

It's like a sprite-based version of Empire/Napoleon Total War. Plus it encompasses features unseen in Total War games, like time of day, named strategic points on the battle map, and stages of battle...

Re: Can TWCenter members challenge CA?!

Have you guys even tried Darth's Ultimate General: Gettysburg? It's a damn good game. He's already got a sequel planned. This series could very well evolve into an indie Total War competitor if it...

Re: Make War Not Love competition (Round 2)

How is this even a fair competition when only campaign battles in Rome II are accounted for? How is SEGA even keeping track of these victories? This all smells of a poor marketing gimmick to me. And...

Re: Return of the Arcade Battles

You're on to something. Rome II, and now seemingly Atilla, are far less polished than Shogun II down to the finest details, and both of the former have uglier UIs than the latter.

    As for Real...

Re: Clickfest speed and class icons

The class icons in the Atilla previews are hideous. What on earth drove CA to abandon the flags that have been there in EVERY Total War game since original Shogun? Such a let down.

Re: Clickfest speed and class icons

If that's then plan, then they've totally failed because they've stripped multiplayer down to bare-bones since Shogun II. The truth is no one can predict what CA is doing, because it's completely...

Re: Bring back Avatar Conquest for multiplayer

I disagree. I think the 3 unit idea is intriguing. But what bothers me is that Avatar Conquest is now lost, seemingly, forever. From the looks of it, we will only enjoy it in Shogun II.

    And I...

Absolutely agreed. This would also solve the problem of seeing armies field siege weapons...outside of sieges. Nothing ruins immersion more than that.
  33. Re: Rally Point 23 - Wrath of Sparta Announcement!

  36. Re: Ships have sails again!!! Now please please put this needed fix in rome2

Absolutely agree with the OP. Though ships should raise their sails when initiating a fight. While they sail towards their targets, those sails should be down and CA should bring back the wind system.
  37. Re: The problem with Atilla not being an expansion/DLC

  39. Re: The problem with Atilla not being an expansion/DLC

  40. The problem with Atilla not being an expansion/DLC
