My gut feeling is that the Germans should use a Shield Wall in battle.

However, I really would like to see the Schiltrom ability in use. Perhaps on a Barbarian AoR unit?

I don't have enough information to write a full unit description, but a semi-elite spear unit with Shield Wall would be a nice addition to Germany.

A Gaul Rebel faction could be interesting. I imagine it being very spread out from game start similar to the Independent Greeks. However, I would rather see more regional AOR troops for the Gauls...

How about making Minor Cities give a Population Growth bonus and put in new temples to replace those of Demeter, Ceres etcetera, or at least changing their bonus to something like Population Health...
