    Re: Crusader Kings 2

I haven't played CK2 in a long time and have been thinking about getting back into it recently. Definitely don't like what I'm reading here :p

Re: 3D printer used to create a Railgun

Couldn't he 3D-print a crowbar to fire from his railgun? I was pretty terrible at Physics in school but I think by calculating the mass of the crowbar, multiplying it by the angle of the shot and...

  5. Re: World's first lesbian bishop calls for church to remove crosses, to install muslim prayer space - Please tell me this is satire!

I don't like feminists at all but come on man! Crosses are pretty patriarchal.

Hell, it's not like the crosses are a symbol for anything. Muslim prayer space makes more sense. After all, wasn't...

  7. Re: Kalypso Media announces Grand Ages: Medieval for PC in 2015

I'm fairly sure I heard somewhere that Grand Ages: Rome and Grand Ages: Medieval weren't made by the same company.

Edit: Looked it up. Different developers, same publisher.

Poll: Re: MAARC LX The Vote!!!

Voted yesterday. Totally agree with Caillagh, great competition this week. The best selection of AARs in a long time in my opinion, and we don't even have last competitions top 2.
  11. Re: YouTube might start to censor fat jokes...

Well the fact that they are doing it because they are emotional would show that they are not thinking.
  12. Re: YouTube might start to censor fat jokes...

I don't get what this has to do with YouTube censoring fat jokes. The account was suspending after the video was widely reported, it's probably an automatic thing to stop people being offended by it...

Re: Refugee Crisis - We can help a little

  14. Sticky: Re: Discussion: Word limit increase to 700 words per Tale.

I agree, 500 is perfect at the moment. It forces you to edit your work and really think about what you should put in and what you shouldn't. It also allows you enter in a very short, to the point...

Poll: Re: Would you date a transexual?

Surely the poll is rather limited. I don't have a problem with transexuals, if they are I don't really care. My "problem" with them is I wouldn't find them attractive. Even if I found them physically...

Re: Refugee Crisis - We can help a little

Don't know if it's related but, as Ferrets said, we are a gaming community and Humble Bundle are doing a Paradox Interactive "Build your own bundle" today. 82% off if you buy 3 games, 86% if you buy...

Re: Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence

It's more of a sub-genre (or maybe genre). Paradox just happen to have an almost monopoly on it. Same genre, same setting, doesn't mean it's the same game.

I mean how many FPS have been set in...

Even if the two flags are similar, I don't see it as such a problem that you require a national referendum. The only area where that might prove a problem is in international diplomacy, in which case...

What's wrong with the current flag? Seriously why would any modern nation waste money on a referendum to change a design? Actually why would you have two instead of just one for no reason?

  29. Re: Why Platini is the right guy for FIFA but the wrong guy for football.

To be honest, I've never seen much difference between Platini and Blatter. Platini is just less outspoken (or maybe just less of an idiot with the media) and has less power, which would obviously...

Re: AARs - How do you track progress?

Mainly Paradox Interactive games so everything is done in real-time, which probably makes it harder. Although, I'd do the same with Total War games.
