Greetings,
Loving the mod, it adds quite a bit of life into Attila and brings back a lot of the dark feel I enjoyed in BI. One issue I'm having that I can't seem to find a solution to is in the Last...
I don't know a lot about DEI but I suggest unmodded for the sake of simplicity and reducing the chance of a bug or bad file ruining a game.
Oy, what's all this then?
This is more than just an RPG, it also combines RTW gameplay to provide a source of narrative events and political changes, in a sort of AAR format. YATS is an old tradition we are now going to...
I'd be very interested to be a part of this again. When I said I could be a moderator I was unemployed, but as of now I'm working full time and will be in school full time less than a year from now,...
I wouldn't object to any of the games or mods being used, but I voted for Rome II Vanilla for simplicity's sake. Were it truly up to me, I would use Europa Barbarorum.
Having a bit of trouble with my installation it seems; I don't have a SweetFX folder upon installation. I've run it a few times. Is there a simple step I'm forgetting here? The mod itself seems to...
In General, my composition is as follows:
1 Eagle Cohort/First Cohort
0-2 Veteran Legionaries/Evocati/Armored Legionaries
7-9 Legionaries/Legionary Cohort
4 Auxillia Infantry or other...
I try and make my legions historical, so that means 1 Eagle Cohort and 9 Legionary Cohorts per legion. With a cap of 75 for Cohorts, that means I can't have more than 7 or so full legions.
I very much like the changes you've made in this mod, with the exception of certain unit caps, mainly the Roman ones. Is there a way I can disable those specifically?
Update on getting TTT to work. Tried running it alone, and it worked.
Must be a mod conflict, I'll start activating them one by one until I figure it out.
EDIT: Made a discovery. TTT works...
No Radious mods; I've just got some unit skins and packs, as well as Dresden's diplomatic options and Lines of Battle.
No dice, unfortunately. Still not getting the new skills.
Yes, a few people I know have had the same issue with TTT.
Yes, I deleted all traces, though not the UI folder. I'll keep fiddling with it, with things like this its usually something I did wrong.
1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Yes
Might re-install a bit later. Thanks for the help; a few other people I know are also having issues apparently. Perhaps something in the new patch or the mod manager is...
Yep. I've even got a few non SW mods that run fine as well.
It's definitely activated. Tried unsubbing and resubbing, but to no avail. Maybe I mucked something up with another mod, I don't know. I'll try a re-install.
I will. Is there an easy way of checking for changes? I've been starting an Athens campaign and repeatedly conquering Larissa to level up my general and check for new traits.
No crashes, just no changes. I still have the old traits and ancillaries. Is there another step I need to do after subscribing in the Workshop? I know in the pre-Patch 5 version we needed to install...
I can't seem to get your mod to work, even with a new campaign. Using the Steam Workshop version, launching from Steam. All the other mods I have seem to be working fine, though. Anyone else having...
Nota' said he can't guarantee his time; haven't got a response from Aquilla yet. Kubrick is on board.
While I'm here (Gotta love those Internal 500 errors), is anyone else interesting in becoming a...
I'll volunteer to moderate as well, or head mod if we need one.
Great work, is this balanced for Patch 4?
Well well well, count me in. It's been a long time coming.
Thanks for the response. Trying the mod out and so far it's working great. I've noticed that archers tend to massacre lightly armored units like Eastern Spearmen while having trouble with armored...
Can anyone confirm how well this mod works with the Lines of Battle mod? I'm thrilled by the changes you made and the results; I was getting frustrated by lack of protection shields and armor seemed...
I'm noticing I'm getting over 100 public order per turn from resources, basically making any public order building obsolete. Is this working as intended?
There are dozens of accounts of the use of African elephants, in war, by the Ptolemies and Carthaginians, among others. During the Battle of Raphia, Ptolemy IV's African elephants were frightened by...
Why would you want to have Polybian units around when you've got Marian, and later troops? It doesn't make sense.
Caesar notes in De Bello Gallico that during a siege, the Gauls standing on the fortifications laughed at the idea that the "diminutive" Romans could even push the siege tower that they'd built. As...
Pyrrhus received some elephants as a gift from his ally, Ptolemy II, for his campaign against the Romans. They're mercenary units in game, so you can't recruit them at factional barracks until you...
I enjoyed seeing Ballista stones ricocheting and bouncing off of the stone walls.
On the province screen, where you can view and build buildings, there is a white bar in the top left. It shows the progress for each level of population surplus.
I haven't tried to merge units, so...
Video options. Check "Unlimited VRAM".
Guard mode has not been removed; it's on by default, passively, and some of its features have been merged into other abilities. If you order your units to attack, guard mode is disabled and they...
You don't need siege machines to enter a city; soldiers can torch the gates.
If you've played 20 turns, shouldn't it be 252 BC?
I think a good chunk of it is explained in the encyclopedia and prologue, but I agree. It took me some digging around to figure out how the pieces fit together.
I don't believe they stack, though I can't confirm that for certain.
No, it's generally wise to specialize; just on a province level. For instance, Italia in my Rome campaign is my military center. Rome itself holds the barracks for the Roman troops, Velathri recruits...
