    Map tools

Has there been any movement with CA on them allowing access to Map tools recently?
  2. Re: CAC v.0.6 Gameplay feedback and mod discussion

Is anyone else playing as a Successor faction getting random Illyrian cultural influence from building Hellenic cultural buildings?

    Re: [Campaign Framework] #1 Cultures / Sub-Cultures / Confederations / Leagues / Factions (217 BC)

Having done some of my own research, I'm going to have to differ with you on startpos, at least with the Seleucids and their satrapies. The Seleucids controlled the outer fringes of the Empire...

    Re: [Campaign Framework] #1 Cultures / Sub-Cultures / Confederations / Leagues / Factions (217 BC)

Not until well after the start date. Before Cynocephalae, they were allies at most. Also, before 202 BC, Rome had its hands full with Hannibal. Therefore, other than some minor skirmishing with...

    Re: [Campaign Framework] #1 Cultures / Sub-Cultures / Confederations / Leagues / Factions (217 BC)

The Seleucids didn't really lose much territory in the aftermath of Raphia, other than their gains in Coele-Syria of the two previous years' campaigns. Parthia already held the in-game Parthia...

Sticky: Re: [Collaboration] Construction of the Campaign Map (WIP)

It's a good start and closer than vanilla, but I have some suggestions pertaining to the Seleucid Empire.

In 217, toward the beginning of the reign of Antiochus III, the Seleucid Empire was a...
  7. Re: CAC v.0.6 Gameplay feedback and mod discussion

This is more of a vanilla critique, but in 272, Sardis shouldn't exist. Sardis/Ephesus was the Seleucid western capital as Seleucia-on-the-Tigris was the Eastern capital. There wasn't conflicting...
  8. Re: CAC v.0.6 Gameplay feedback and mod discussion

If someone will give me a crash course on how to mod startpos stuff, I can fix the whole Media/Atropatene/Mesopotamia issue to as historically correct as it is possible for us to know.

In Aria, the city of Merv uses the modern name, During this period, it was called Margiana.

Re: CAC v.0.6 (alpha) issue reporting thread

I'm getting a CTD about 10-15 years into the game after the turn change. I can send the save file to you if you need. I had a good game going, so this kinda sucks.

Also, Cyrene was not a satrapy/client state of Egypt at the start date. In fact, the Seleucids backing Cyrene in it's war against Egypt is the reason that the Seleucids and Egypt were at war.
  12. Re: CAC v.0.6 Gameplay feedback and mod discussion

I have some small startpos things that I was hoping that you might add for 0.7: 1) Mesopotamia was Seleucid territory, particularly at the start date of the campaign, the eastern capital was...

Sticky: Re: Recruitment - Come Lend A Hand, you know you want to

Hey, what do you need in the way of researchers? Someone with access to JSTOR, etc and some free time, or are you looking for people with more specific knowledge?

    Sticky: Re: Preview: Successor Factions

I'm guessing there will be a Seleucid roster expansion/refinement forthcoming. That's the one I'm looking forward to most.
