  1. Sticky: Re: Roma Surrectum III preview: The new battle map enviroment

I did some work on this and made some changes. I removed the bogus river you pointed out, and moved the two rivers around to look more like what you've shown. I must confess however that I really...

    Re: RSII Installation Issues

I hate to say it, but I agree with you. CA\Sega claimed for years that they had 'lost the source code' for RTW\BI\Alexander. Then all of a sudden, it turns up in Steams hands. (Where the hell did...

Sticky: Re: RS2.6 questions & answers

The General 'fighting' in a battle means, by definition, that his unit has so many kills in a battle. At least, that's the description of how the triggers are supposed to work. There are no related...

Although Generals 'can' advance under autoresolve, they don't advance very fast. Playing the battles and actually having them fight in them advances them much better. In fact, many triggers NEED the...

    Re: diplomancy and levels

The way I read the rebellion script, a chain of events are set off that 'seem' to have little to do with the 'shadowing' issue. A lot of traits and ancillaries are involved when the Roman FL gets the...
  10. Sticky: Re: Roma Surrectum III preview: The new battle map enviroment

  11. Sticky: Re: Roma Surrectum III preview: The new battle map enviroment

I can't honestly say. I worked on it some more yesterday, but I just can't figure out how to make it work. I can get custom battles to work without settlements, and the campaign will load....but for...

I know they should have no walls. But unfortunately, they will get steam-rolled without them. The AI just doesn't protect it's cities well enough.
