parthian horse archers.....cause I always found the shock cav to be too frail and cav doesn't break off that easy....horse archers never had that problem and they provide decent capturing troops...

YES! I don't necessary want to actually keep some of the lands I conquer....like my vassals have it

Also I loved beating factions who put up a good fight and just hand them back their lands and...

They set the bar for themselves way too high and we were understandably gullible enough to eat it up(Shogun was largely well done and was a return to "normalcy" so we thought CA had got it right)

The only dlc I will get is a arabic/african faction pack and thats it......

I'd agree that the passion is what's missing, even during the staff vids they just seemed like they were doing a job and thats it....no excitement or sense of satisfaction.

Rome 2 can never be Rome 1, they're both far different from each other in terms of design and vision.....

Rome 2 doesn't live up to it's lineage certainly.......but it's tolerable at this point,...
