  1. Re: Baktrian reform (from Satrap to King) not starting

You should be fine if you wait it out. I had the same experience in my Baktrian campaign a few days ago. I captured a few cities and won a few battles until I got the "ready to forgive" message. I...

Thanks for uploading this. But there do seems to be a problem with the files. I've tried installing them several times, and each time after running the setup I get the following message:

    Das...

    Re: Bactrian Independence

As it stands the script remains buggy. But they will recognize you as independent if they're down to about four settlements. As far as I know there's no mod that addresses this.

Re: Comparing notes on Baktra Campaign

The cost of the elephant unit can be cancelled out by putting it in a minor settlement. It makes their upkeep free. I just kept mine in the settlement next to Alexandreia-Eschate and brought them out...

Re: Comparing notes on Baktra Campaign

The way I saw it, the elephant unit was the real reward. I accepted the mission and had no real intention of conquering the two camps, so I just kept the elephants in Alexandreia Eschate to fight off...

Re: Comparing notes on Baktra Campaign

    2. I asked the same question about Indian units in Sogdia, and the explanation is that native colony buildings provide soldiers from both the region and surrounding regions. The Indo-Greek units...

Re: Announcement: Europa Barbarorum 2.1b is released!

A few turns after I posted I got the independence script, because the Seleukids were down to four provinces. I was able to build the Basilike Patris in Baktria and got the new government options, so...

Re: Announcement: Europa Barbarorum 2.1b is released!

    Hello,

Playing a Baktria game, I'm having difficultly achieving the independence event. I stopped paying tribute at turn 100 and conquered most of the Seleukid territories in Persia (everything...

    Sticky: Re: Post Your Screenshots

Seconded. I'm sure many of us (myself included) are away from our EB computers for the next few days because of the holidays and would love to see the new units in action. I'm dying to see what...

    Re: youtube lets play

If EB 1 is any indication, there will be no lack of mercenaries in those regions. Because of its central location, Bactria and the surrounding provinces had an incredibly diverse selection. Even in...

    Re: youtube lets play

A Taksashila campaign would be very much appreciated. As I recall the EB team implemented (or are planning to implement later) an event in which you're given the choice either to roleplay as a loyal...

    Re: More challenging campaign

If you don't mind, could you go into more detail? I.E. - what precisely does the mod do in order to make the game more challenging?

    Re: Is cavalry charge overpowered?

I believe the Seleukid cataphracts at Magnesia charged the Roman line, and did so well in fact that Antiochus went on to start looting the Roman camp.

Re: Bactrian culture should be Indian

    Good question.

"Been reading about the indo-greek kingdon in bactria and it does seen that the dominant religion became buddhism."

The key word here is "became."

    It's important to draw...
