    No, but very much of that era and may have been a parallel development with the SARGE. This one never really got beyond the proof of concept experimental stage.

    I think it's a Luftwaffe Revi C12 D gunsight - looks to be usually installed top centre right of the control panel. Used in Stuka and fighters in general I think (didn't read too much about it).

    Clue: discontinued in 1960 (year before the Tsar Bomba test), imo it qualifies as a battlefield* weapon.
