Well we've made unit packs for Napoleon and Shogun 2 and Rome II, so what do you think?
Well there are certainly a lot of claims being made in this thread about why we do things. To start off just reiterating what we've said about modding in Warhammer:
Let's move on to some of...
Those models are old Rome 2 models that are still in Attila available for modders to use, or are already used on existing Attila units. You can check the unit VMDs to see for yourself.
Because the map is made in an entirely different way now. It doesn't use a giant max file as its base. Any raw data we could give you would be meaningless as it's been generated by tools we've...
Blimey my name isn't half being thrown around in here. Thought I'd drop in and clarify a few things.
I didn't mod the AI for Rome I. My mod, Terrae Expugnandae, was a gameplay mod with a...
Ignore the name Local Commerce for now.
Wealth comes in 2 form. fixed amounts that apply to the region a building is in, and then % bonuses that apply to the entire province.
Local Commerce is...
Again, local commerce is a specific type of wealth. Buildings state on their tooltip what wealth they generate. All fixed value wealth given by buildings applies to the region they're in. % bonuses...
Local commerce is a type of wealth. Buildings like trade ports or the minor settlement trade buildings introducing with the Emperor Edition produce it. So a bonus to local commerce will give a bonus...
A few false claims in your post cherryfunk.
Yes you can. At its simplest your parties influence v the other parties influence is a sum of the gravitas of the characters in each party. There's...
Disable/delete ALL mods you have. That colour issue is caused by a conflict with a mod.
Disable/delete ALL mods. You've likely got a mod that edits the faction uniform colours table which won't have the information for the new campaign factions in it. That is what will be causing it.
VGchartz has nowhere near accurate sales numbers for any of our games. It's not a reliable source. I've said it before when it comes up but worth pointing out again.
Why thank you :)
We've updated the Assembly Kit with the latest db files to match the Patch 15/Emperor Beta, same as we do for every update we release.
Are you running with a multiple TPY mod or similar by any chance? Mods like that affect the startpos so running them will mean you won't see the new buildings.
Being on a hill will not effect range, but will give a damage bonus. Missile units on higher ground will therefore do more damage than those on lower ground firing up. That's been true since Rome II...
They can stand still and fire and also throw on the charge. Try them out :)
Funny, we have more features and elements to our land battles than ever before yet we're accused of stripping them down.
The weapon/armour upgrade buildings and the new horse upgrade chain are the core settlement chain in those regions. They only appear in iron regions and the new regions we've put the horse upgrade...
To quote the patch notes:
The balance changes for land and naval battles have been very extensive, with such an already long list of changes we didn't want to make it any longer. We've adjusted armour, shield and weapon...
To be absolutely clear. The Imperator Augustus campaign will be FREE for all existing owners of Rome II. The Emperor Edition will replace Rome II in your Steam library and all retail copies from now...
More information on the improvements we're making with the Emperor Edition, and the Imperator Augustus campaign, will be coming soon.
The Emperor Edition retail version will replace the existing Rome II retail version. It will contain a version of the game with all the patch data and new Imperator Augustus campaign map on it,...
No I said the opposite. Civil wars are now no longer unavoidable. If you manage politics well enough you'll never have one occur.
Pretty much :)
2) Yup it's free :D
4) There are effects that come form your political influence, and Imperium has effects that affect the politics game.
5) Applies to the Grand Campaign as well.
They apply to all campaigns apart from Caesar in Gaul due to it's unique escalation mechanic.
They still require money to acquire , though the cost has been reduced and the first level has no pre-requisites so statesmen who haven't ranked up yet and can get promotions and contribute to the...
F.A.Q
If I buy ROME II today (or at any point up to the launch of Emperor Edition) will I still get the free upgrade to Emperor Edition when it launches?
Yes.
What platforms will Emperor...
We’ve announced the definitive version of ROME II – the Total War: ROME II Emperor Edition.
Emperor Edition collects together all free content to date, which includes wide-ranging revisions,...
That will allow for 25 as each loaded vmd will be considered new slots. I'd advise at keeping the numbers of variations loaded as low as you can as it has a big impact on performance, hence why we've...
You should click the link at the bottom of Joey's post Brig ;)
There's a limit of 5 meshes/mesh references per slot. So only the first 5 listed under shield there will be shown.
Their unit card colour was changed as it was almost identical to the mercenary unit card colour, so their secondary colour, that of the symbol on their banner, was used for them instead.
I think some clarity is needed here.
The tribes in the Pirates & Raiders Culture Pack & Getae FLC have a number of defining features. Their faction group, culture, subculture, unit rosters,...
The armour_piercing, armour_penetrating and shield_piercing fields are not used by the game.
The rigid models for skins are made either using the cinematic or normal skeleton. As said above, only officers and generals use the cinematic skeleton, so using a cinematic skin on a normal soldier...
Those faces are used in-game on officers and generals. It will only happen in mods if people use cinematic skins on normal soldiers.
