Poll: Re: Official "Beast of War" DLC Discussion

Oh boy, another throng of units that I'll never actually use.

I've tried to remain positive about the state of this game since release, but really now? Instead of focusing their efforts on, you...
  2. Poll: Re: Has Rome 2 Vanilla now reached the level of Rome 1 Vanilla

"Fun" being completely subjective, of course...
  3. Poll: Re: Has Rome 2 Vanilla now reached the level of Rome 1 Vanilla

    All subjective.

Not entirely sure I understand what you mean by "cloned." Both games have three agents: Spy, Assassin, Diplomat (Rome), and Spy, Champion, Dignitary (Rome II).

    They serve...
  4. Poll: Re: So, they have released Empire 2 Total War - what next?

If by "yes," you mean "a game that, though in shambles upon release, has seen marked improvements through official patches and third-party mods," then sure.

    What a silly thread...
  5. Re: Why DLC Caesar limited map Galiya????????????????????

Probably because it's not about Caesar's Civil War, it's about Caesar's campaign in Gaul.

    Hence, you know...Caesar in Gaul...
  6. Re: How many hours have you put in to the game?

    A whopping 39 hours.

Compared to the 176 hours I've logged in NTW, 378 in S2TW, and 435 in ETW (as well as countless aeons spent across RTW and M2TW), something seems...off.

Quite possibly posted already, but I can't be bothered to check 46 pages. :whistling
  8. Poll: Re: WELL ROME 2 SUCKED,WHATS GAMES IS NEXT FOR CA?

    *ahem*
    Victoria: Total War.

1835 - 1900, or something like that. Extend the campaign to 1920, perhaps (though CA's ability to manage the Great War is...questionable).
  9. Re: Why do people think this will be fixed? Evidence and history tells us the opposite.

Rome: Total War...had a good launch?

  11. Re: Regular updates inbound! First patch coming Friday

Good, now perhaps we can all behave like decent human beings.

    A stretch, I know.

Re: ***** Official first impressions thread *****

Another minor issue I've found - by no means deal breaking, mind you, just a taste thing, really: Unit markers, or whatever you want to call them (the markers on the ground that display where a unit...

    Re: It's opinion time!

Oh, I read the threads, and what did I find? A whole lot of unnecessary drama, melodramatic tales of betrayal, and general whiny-ness.
  14. Re: Rome II: After the First Day, Let’s Just Take A Deep Breath

I think everyone needs to chill the hell out for a minute.

If you honestly expected Rome II to a bug-free, pinnacle of game design, then you've no one to blame but yourself. Just look at the...

    Re: It's opinion time!

    Shogun 2/Rome 2 > Medieval II > Rome > Medieval > Napoleon > Empire > Shogun

Now, in all fairness, I didn't play Shogun in 2000, but sometime after Medieval 2 dropped. As such, it seemed...

    Re: Official first impressions thread.

What's this? Rome II didn't live up to the ungodly expectations players had created in the past decade?

    I hate to say "I told you so," but...:whistling (er...well, I had a post somewhere, but I...
