"Fun" being completely subjective, of course...
All subjective.
Not entirely sure I understand what you mean by "cloned." Both games have three agents: Spy, Assassin, Diplomat (Rome), and Spy, Champion, Dignitary (Rome II).
They serve...
If by "yes," you mean "a game that, though in shambles upon release, has seen marked improvements through official patches and third-party mods," then sure.
What a silly thread...
Probably because it's not about Caesar's Civil War, it's about Caesar's campaign in Gaul.
Hence, you know...Caesar in Gaul...
A whopping 39 hours.
Compared to the 176 hours I've logged in NTW, 378 in S2TW, and 435 in ETW (as well as countless aeons spent across RTW and M2TW), something seems...off.

I think everyone needs to chill the hell out for a minute.
If you honestly expected Rome II to a bug-free, pinnacle of game design, then you've no one to blame but yourself. Just look at the...
Shogun 2/Rome 2 > Medieval II > Rome > Medieval > Napoleon > Empire > Shogun
Now, in all fairness, I didn't play Shogun in 2000, but sometime after Medieval 2 dropped. As such, it seemed...
What's this? Rome II didn't live up to the ungodly expectations players had created in the past decade?
I hate to say "I told you so," but...:whistling (er...well, I had a post somewhere, but I...
