Poll: Re: UK 2015 General Election (not too early I hope?...)

It's true that every time an issue comes up, he has linked it back to Europe or immigration. UKIP really hasn't moved very far away from being a single issue party.
  2. Re: Putin did not order the execution of political opponent

For a deal to be brokered, both sides have to agree to it and they can easily reject the overtures from the broker, so it's not "meddling" at all.
  3. Re: Execution in Arizona taking 2 hours + bans on exports used in executions by EU

I don't think the compensation should be only about loss of earnings, which $1,000,000 would probably equate to over a 39 year period, but also compensation for the mental anguish suffered.
  4. Re: Putin did not order the execution of political opponent

Your "source" is the political equivalent of Yahoo answers and even then, not everyone agrees with you. Did you read beyond the first answer? The president fled and refused to exercise his executive...
  5. Re: Putin did not order the execution of political opponent

So, Heathen Hammer, when did any troops from any Western nation set foot on Ukrainian soil to effect the "coup" you're talking about, or help "put down" pro-Russian opposition?
  6. Re: Execution in Arizona taking 2 hours + bans on exports used in executions by EU

That's not evolution: he's had almost his entire working life deliberately taken away from him. If the state has made it so that he cannot find employment for the rest of his life, then the state...
  7. Re: UKIP would axe "much of" law that prevents racial discrimination in work place

Who are you to decide that? If I see a black guy on the street my first thought isn't "oh he must be foreign." In fact I don't even have any thoughts about it, because I have more important things to...
  8. Re: UKIP would axe "much of" law that prevents racial discrimination in work place

And why is someone who is black automatically non-British?

Poll: Re: UK 2015 General Election (not too early I hope?...)

It's a stupid idea because the party is more than just the leader. I can understand having presidential debates, because then are you actually voting for that particular person, whilst in the UK...

Poll: Re: UK 2015 General Election (not too early I hope?...)

Ashcroft is a pretty respected pollster, but all polls should be taken with a pinch of salt and they're a general indicator at best. One thing that's worth noting and that the article mentions is...

Poll: Re: UK 2015 General Election (not too early I hope?...)

So the latest polling results show that the SNP is set to completely wipe out Labour and the Lib Dems in Scotland and take 56 out of 59 seats, including Gordon Brown's, which would be a serious...

Every weather condition happens whether the earth is generally getting warmer. The question is whether sand storms are becoming more common because of climate change. If climate change is causing...

  15. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

I think you and I are arguing for slightly different things. Are you arguing against mandatory vaccination for the sake of cost to the person getting vaccinated or an individual rights angle?
  16. Re: Freedom of Movement between the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand should be a given - but it's not.

I assume that must be net income, otherwise it's quite hard to believe, when the median wage is $3,065 for the UK.

  18. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

What? Surely that shows that widespread vaccination has been helping prevent deaths.

A vaccine being less effective than believed isn't grounds against mandatory vaccinations. I really don't...

Poll: Re: UK 2015 General Election (not too early I hope?...)

Except when Britain was saving Europe from the French.

What's rotten about the EU and what needs stopping?
  20. Re: Freedom of Movement between the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand should be a given - but it's not.

They are. We make the distinction between White British and White Cornish simply due to the underachievement of White Cornish pupils as a whole, so they're a particular group of interest to track.
  21. Re: Freedom of Movement between the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand should be a given - but it's not.

I can help explain it to you: I work in the most racially homogenous part of the UK and at my school, I'd say around about 5% weren't White British in terms of ethnicity. For the sake of argument,...

  24. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

That might be true, although you've presented no evidence for it, and incidentally any searches for "natural herd immunity" just brings up anti-vaccination propaganda websites. The problem with...

Sticky: Re: TWC Member Awards 2014: Discussion Thread

  26. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

I'm actually genuinely surprised and kind of pleased that we actually have exactly the same views on something.
  27. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

None of that is grounds against mandatory vaccinations. It would be if you presented a problem with vaccination or a risk from them, but all you've claimed is that vaccines aren't as effective as...
  28. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

Yes... but it's what I would expect states to start doing, so I don't see why it's ironic.
  29. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

That's not ironic. And it seems perfectly sensible to me.

  32. Re: Here are the politicians that want to kill your children

You should post all the sources because this is an issue that can be resolved entirely through empirical data and scientific rigour. Considering not vaccinating children has actually caused the death...

Re: That's A Lot of Euros

I wouldn't call the billions of German taxpayer money funnelled towards failing European economies a "perk" of being the leader in EU population and economic size.
