You deserve it! Really really awesome work you did!
Thank You Very Much!
SIRE! :-)
just to be clear - no Stainless Steel whatsoever is needed? Just the 30GB of your (awesome!) mod?
Wuhuu!!!
Really really excited! Fantastic work!
In fact, there is a mod for this: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?623853-1450-Campaign-for-6-4
Edit: better read the post to the end, there seems to be two different version.
reading this forum for almost 2 years now, like, "looking every day for updates", i am most excited for the newest version. i must hold myself back to reinstall my "old" SSHIP 0.9 version, because i...
Just a wild thought:
In Rome Total War it was possible to play as rebels if you tweaked the descr_strat. It was actually quite fun to play, something like "Anarchy for Europe" or "Krieg den...
If it helps, i could do some of the repetitive work, if i know what to do.
I started to play with the descr_strat in the high_and_late_era_campaign order, like changing constantinople to byzanz...
I guess, this does not mean late and high era? And i also guess it would be quite difficult to adjust this awesome mod for late and high era?
Is it possible do upload that file again?
Edit: Nevermind, found a solution.
Sorry to update this old thread, but the file in the first post is missing - is there a way to get it?
If it is gone forever, can someone hint me to how i manage to get late bodyguards?...
Or the 1450 campaign for SS 6.4 - Crusader States or Sicily: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?623853-1450-Campaign-for-6-4
and especially:...
Well - you get more full army stacks than those 8. a lot more. Ok, BGR is not the ideal mod for playing with the mongols, but it is possible (although i never played to the end):
- strange that...
yep, the fireworks - especially if they hit a well packed infantry line :-)
if fighting the mongols (with KoJ, Seljucs, TO, or Byzanthines), i try to put together an army of 5-10 siege weapons,...
Siege weapons, siege weapons, siege weapons - trebuchets, catapults, mangonels (if deployed correctly), and later cannons. at least 5 units per army. this is, for me, the only effecive way against...
what happend to spain?
nice map btw :-)
I just startet a new campaign with Lithuania, to see if the immigration-tactics works with SSHIP. So i moved all my army to the west to take sweden/norway. a couple rounds after my original...
Is Rome a victory condition for Lithuania? Holy Pope! That is quite an alternate-historic universe.
Try asking that question in the BGR Thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?106060-BGR-V-20150324-Byg-s-Grim-Reality-(Supply-amp-Command-Series)-Guides-Updates-amp-Optional-Extras
Or...
Ok, thx. guess that means training more swordsmen
Is there any Guide/Overview for handling guilds in SSHIP? I remember there was one for SS, but i couldnt find any for SSHIP.
The reason: i have a swordmasters guild in Jerusalem with CS and i was...
No. 4-8 units per army, at least. Use them spammy. they get lots of experience, so retrain the best of them when you can. they get deadlier with high xp.
If i understand correctly: you have a castle with general (1) who has WC/recruitment staff. you move another general (2) into the castle and give WC/recruitment from (1) to (2) in the same turn. then...
Really? At one point a crusade against the French was called - so other catholic factions and muslims can be crusaded, but orthodox factions not?
I didnt want to go to war with the Byzantines, but the Mongols are slower than anticipated, and the byzzies attacked me first, so i invade them over anatolia. but really really slow, because they...
Yeah, i started a new campaign already, after i had no full stack army anymore, only 1-3 garrison troups in the settlements, and the mongolians strolling around my territory with veteran full stark...
Currently playing CS (again!) - yes, my rep is so low, iam happy if i can get trade rights. egypt is mine, syria also. but i have to agree - expand or die. if you dont expand, stack after stack from...
Sorry if this was already answered:
is there a submod for SS and/or SSHIP to change turntime to 1 year per turn?
I know that this changes the gameplay a lot, but with some campaigns i want to...
Ah yeah, that could in fact be the case. i forgot to mention the distinction between captured capitals, boarder regions, and the like. i would say: own capital + own cities: boost growth! foreign...
Don't know if it is helpful, but i had to adapt to the economy system in SSHIP, coming from SS. here is what i learned
SSHIP puts a lot weight on the economy in general - more economy related...
Lithuania - why didnt i think of that? thanks!
Always looking for a challenge: what is the hardest faction to play with in SSHIP?
I played the Crusader States: pretty easy, i think. no money-problems, no battle-problems - only real problem are...
SSHIP does not include BGR. In fact, you are not supposed to start the SS_Setup.exe after installing SSHIP - if you do, you have to reinstall SSHIP. Always start with the launcher.
See here,...
@paleologos: Thanks for the reply - an admin can move this thread.
@Geoffrey: i thought of migrate my kingdom, but wanted to fight the mongols first. thanks for the tipps. round 15, the mongols...
Quick question, sorry if this is found elsewhere, i couldn find it:
Playing as the Khwarazenians late campaign, it is quite challenging against the mongolian hordes. i managed to defeat some armys...
Im not sure, but isnt it possible to cancel the jihad if you assasinate the imam who called the jihad?
Or perhaps a trait, that says "if the general gets killed in battle, his army gets a morale-boost". Perhaps for generals who are renowed in war or faction leaders with high chivalry?
That is an interesting thought: would it be possible to implement, that if an crusader/jihad army loses its general in battle, they get an morale-boost?
