Sticky: Re: RS 2.6 Issues and Problems:

You've missed that the 'early praetorians' are pre-Augustan reforms - so they are no longer available. You need to go as far as the Castra Praetoria for the Late Praetorians (with the supposedly...

    Re: Computer Specification

Other people can advise you better on Win 7 vs Win 8 (I don't even like what Win 8.1 has done over Win 8 on my phone!)......

    Re: Computer Specification

You should be absolutely fine. The only thing that matters, though, is that first line - for the CPU speed is everything.

RTW/RSII only uses a single core; has no idea about separate graphics...

Sticky: Re: Roma Surrectum 2.6 patch

Not entirely. The 'Early Imperial Legions' are those 12 that are listed that way in the text files. The Team wanted them available 'earlier' because of the suppositional links back to their...

Sticky: Re: RS 2.6 Issues and Problems:

Yes, if you are indeed playing v2.6 - then it's changed (as noted in that other post yesterday). The Late Auxilia/Imperial Reforms are now triggered by the building of the Circus Maximus in Roma. ...

Sticky: Re: Roma Surrectum 2.6 patch

It's not changed massively; and not the first (Marian) reforms:

    - It's Akragas (the smallest starting Roman settlement) that needs to get to 24k and build an Imperial Palace to initiate the...
  7. Re: RS2.5 CTD when loading battle - yes I've tried all options

For my part, as there were no details, this could also be one of the 'map bugs' or, rarely, one of the 'odd settlement bugs'; that I occasionally discovered during testing - that were all reported...

I'm sad for you, but I'm glad you confirmed that.

As kyrkac says, you need to patch to 2.6 - for you are indeed playing 2.5 (which had that bug).

Re: RS2 more stable than EB?

Disconnect from the internet and turn off Anti-Virus.

RTW was written in a much nicer age. I suspect this may solve many of your EB issues too.

Sticky: Re: RS 2.6 Issues and Problems:

To the best of my knowledge there is only one version of 2.6. If the problem has only appeared from a recent re-installation and you didn't see it before, then it is possible the final step to 2.6...

There was a bug; it was definitely fixed whilst I was testing.

Re: Help with Citizenship in 2.6

The old picture guides are still there and still valid - the rules for citizenship haven't changed.

I therefore suspect that the thing you are missing is the 'Market'. :)

    Re: Too Many Bad Traits?

The traits system remains as it was designed, before a good understanding was gained about Probability and Statistics.

The triggers for many of the low level general traits are indeed random - and...

Re: Rome2 vs RSII - Where are we?

Re: Game Crash every 2 battles

You will probably need to reduce many settings to lower levels as the CPU speed is low.

However, it's much more likely that post-battle CTDs are due to Anti-Virus and/or simply Windows protecting...

It's just the Money Cap - having too much money (just as in RL) would simply result in (hyper-) inflation - the Money Cap is just a simple way of coping with that.
