    You used to be able to do it in your user config file in the line unitmultiplier=xx

    If there are 100 men in a unit, setting the unitmultiplier to 0.5 will give you 50 and 2.0 will give you 200....

    I've been doing a lot of testing recently, and while nothing harms FPS like DeI; I have noticed the following about GEM:

    a) The HBO filter costs FPS. I've noticed about 4-5 fps in latest GEM

    What has happened to Cavalry?

    I haven't played in a few months and I come back and find cavalry struggle to kill anything, they are slow and their charge is woefully underpowered

    It's not to everyones taste though. And it's not finished. Most environments and weathers are not effected, and the ones that are have annoying bugs like the shining through mountains.

    Do not include this mod. It only supports a few environments, in a few weather conditions, and it's HDR effect is even stronger than vanillas.

    Stamina and fatigue needs to be reworked.

    Right now, units in full heavy armour can sprint across the map and then engage in melee for 10 minutes without ever falling below active/fresh.

    I have tried Mech Donalds no HDR mod; but for me it messes too much with the lighting. I've even had some day time battles in the rain get plunged into pitch...

    I know the total war retail mod manager causes a lot of problems because the load order is unchangeable.

    Does using the 3rd party mod manager to alter the load order fix the problems with mod...

    As has already been said, your water is not realistic; it's far too clear. Even if you believe that water is that clarity, it's still a bad design choice because the game engine has not been designed...

    Have you checked that you don't have the folder - c:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/rome total war 2?

    It's not clear whether or not that you have done this yet.

    Not sure why I had a c:/ version of the rome 2 folder, it was completely empty. But deleting it has solved my problem!
