Try to change TATW.cfg and Third Age.bat files as instructed here:...
Well, if you have a working TATW 3.2 installed, in which you had installed PCP Cleaner file, and had run it to clean things which need to be cleaned, and now, had installed/moved PCP`s data folder +...
Well, you need to have Medieval II TW+Kingdoms installed on that second drive, and after that, just copy+paste your whole Third_Age_3 folder in Medieval II Total War/mods folder ( on that second...
Just to add to Veteraan's input: after making your changes in medieval2.preference.CFG file, save the file, exit your Text Editor, right mouse click on that same .cfg file, and in General tab, set...
Thread closed as per request.
Well, data folder from the vanilla TATW needs to stay there, so when you copy+paste the PCP data folder (from your desktop) into that vanilla TATW folder, you do copy and replace the existing vanilla...
What Windows do you have? And, why are you deleting the existing "data" folder in vanilla TATW? You should not do that, since you need it.

Just scroll down, and you will see PCP UI FIX.
Well, I usually have at least two units of Oropher Chosen, and I use them when I need to deal with Balrog. Single volley of both units takes the whole Balrog unit out. But, yes, they kick ass, they...
@JVR
Well, some town models do change for me in D.Silmarillion Expanded. No trouble fighting Balrog (On Huge unit setting there are 4 freaking units). It is however strange that you could fight...
After installing PCP, try with "Alternative Launch Option" from here:...
You`re welcome!
There was some invasion going on, which was supposed to end on that turn when it was crashing for you. I`ve managed to pass it by using toggle_fow cheat to see what is happening,...
I have tried your savegame, and managed to play three more turns. Try it again: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e2-eV0lmYglH_AmcXJ1HxXUuWnICCc6A/view?usp=sharing
Sometimes just a small change in one of the files screws everything (wrong letter or missing a letter). Name your folder as PCP, and make appropriate changes in all.bat and .cfg files.
Well, is the name of your folder same as the one in .cfg and .bat files? Also, be sure not to set your Third Age.bat to be run as an Administrator (or the .bat file which is used to run your mod)....
OK. First, be sure to place/install Cleaner.batch file in your Third_Age_3 / data folder, then go to Third_Age_3/ data folder and run that same Cleaner.batch file so it can do its job.
Then, just...
Well. I did. :D
Where is your main M2TW installed (the correct folder would be nice)?
What Windows do you have?
Did you install TATW 3.0+3.2 prior to installing Dagor S., and tested can you...
@ Arioria of mithlond
I hate when I have to repeat myself, and I don`t want to add spoilers again to your posts which include a lot of pictures (since I am lazy as well :P).
Upload your savegame prior to crash (not the autosave file) and I`ll look into it.
I`ve added spoilers to your pictures, for faster page loading, since some users have issues with their browser/internet speed. You can add them yourself, just go to "Go Advanced" posting. There are...
This is how to run in Windows 7 Compatibility mod:

If you do not have Compatibility tab( Steam disabled that tab? ), then try this:

Thread re - opened.
There are many good submods for TATW, some are CPU/GPU more demanding than the vanilla TATW, like MOS, DaC.
Have you tried running your kingdoms.exe in Windows 7 Compatibility mod? Win 10 sucks at...
Does it happen with other games/mods? Have you tried the steps above from the link I`ve posted?
Have you tried running your kingdoms.exe (application) in Windows 7 Compatibility mod?
Lenovo IdeaCentre has been known to cause flickering during gaming, and M2TW game engine will cause this even more while playing mods such as TATW. Go into Advanced settings of your preferred Power...
Well, you are probably one of many who have issues with these special units, as you can see in this...
Do you have Windows or Mac? Are those battles which crash custom battles, or in a campaign?
Any screenshot? :D
Try setting the kingdoms.exe (application) to be run in Windows 7 Compatibility mod.
If that doesn`t work, reinstall using these instructions:...
Hi there, and welcome to TWC Forums
There is a whole thread regarding Mac installation, and one of the proper ways to install it is like this (Note: With this method, the custom settlements do...
There are torrent links: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?606719-cannot-download&p=12978856&viewfull=1#post12978856
Or this one which has all files in one:...
If I understand correctly, you're having an issue with some other mod, and not TATW?
Mac users have issues with custom cities in this mod. You could try this potential fix made by one of Mac users (be sure to make a backup copy of files which have to be changed).
Or, use this...
Writing just "F" is fine.
As you can see from the link I`ve posted, you have an example there:
You have used the one which I marked with red, bold and underlined.. so I had to edit it. ...
Had to censor you again leo, for bypassing a censored word. :thumbsup2
What battle is it: custom or in a campaign? When does the crash occur: at the start of battle (after you set and deploy your units), or when the battle starts loading?
That's more than enough. :thumbsup2
Turn off/disable daylight saving setting. Google for: How to turn off/disable daylight saving setting in Windows "insert your version here".
If that doesn`t fix it, then delete...
Nice and well explained tutorial. As always. :D :thumbsup2
You could also add to that tutorial of yours, that it helps with the long turn time/ AKA possible campaign lag.
