    Re: Clamor for Reform

That is an unfortunate result of advancing in technology, especially economy/social tree. There are a few technologies that reverse it a bit. Other things you can do is to sacrifice one town to build...

    Re: Infantry charge bonus

I suppose it's also a matter of formation. Classical hoplites were both very heavy (a full panoply could weigh over 20 kg), giving them a devastating impact, and trained for charge in formation....

A few questions about tactics etc...

So I'm messing around ETW now...and need a little help with a few things.

First, attacking forts. These battles are always very costly...when my, already mostly professional army (line infantry,...
  5. Re: Most unhistorical thing you've done or seen happen?

Gotta chip in with this. Wurttemberg (not sure about spelling) destroyed France. Year was 1718 or so.
  6. Re: I'm amazing in terms of econimics and defense.

Yep, try to get trade with everyone who is not at war with you...you might even give them something to make them agree on trade, I usually use some industrial technology that's not that important.

  7. Re: A serious question for religious people regarding primates.

Many philosophers and scholars made similar observations, some dating back, if I recall correctly, even to antiquity.

  12. Poll: Re: Scottish Independence Referendum is agreed: vote in 2014
