does this mean you don't have to write your results down every time and the results are directly added to the sheet?
if so, please explain how to make that happen.
is your fix also compatible for SPQR 6.2?
i'm still finishing my 6.2 campaign before i start a new 6.4 one
can somebody post it online or give a link where i can see it plz?
i just saw 6.4 is available.
can someone post some screenshots of the new roman and mercenary skins?
as you are excommunicated, try to make peace with muslim factions
tnx
so at some point there'll be a civil war?
will it be the same like in the vanilla version where the julii have to conquer gaul, the brutii greece and the scipii northern africa?
will there be several roman factions to begin with or just one?
dislikes
- maybe the skins can be made a bit more realistic (other skins for egypt)
- more types of mercenaries, especially in the northern area)
- maybe adjust (not necessarily more) the...
will there be different reforms then?
like marian (100bc), augustian (+- 10bc), new armour (+- 50ad), more protection for arm and new helmet (+- 100ad)?
if so, will those reforms occur on...
and how about archers and skirmishers? did you guys modified the impact of their arrows/spears?
in most mods their impact is pretty much the same as in the vanilla version: you can fire millions...
when does the campaign starts and when does it ends?
i read somewhere the colloseum can only be build in the year it was actually build (80 AD).
do you have a screenshot of them?
can somebody post a picture of the adjusted skins in the 6.3 version?
also is it possible to switch the roman skins (red) with those of the roman rebels (blue)?
are you sure about this? because i don't understand italian (i might guess) and i think it would be a pity that non-italians won't be able to read/understand the descriptions and unit info
my goal in SPQR is to conquer the roman empire as it was at its highest extend, not to conquer the whole map which is far to big in my opinion. i'm a slow player, i rarely blitz, i don't use the 4...
have you guys made some new progresses? i'm really curious for the beta/end result...
then maybe you could make the map a bit smaller because in the east (arabia), in the south (the lands south of carthage) and the north/north east (russia) there are cities that have matching lands...
i ment only greece, not rome or another nation, just greece
you might be right, but isn't possible to at least lower the effect of 'distance to capital'?
greek colonies were much more scattered than carthaginian lands, that were pretty much centered in north africa, east iberia, corsica, sardinia and west sicilia.
this is a map of around 200BC :...
greece had many trading posts scattered around the mediterranean and the black sea, but in SPQR or any RTW mod and vanilla version it isn't possible to have scattered lands because of the 'distance...
ovidiu, are you planning to add more (smaller) provinces to the coast of north africa? especially leptis magna (or how it's written), that should be only a few kilometers into africa.
and how...
i wonder if you guys modded the battles.
i'm currently playing SPQR 6.2 where battles are a serious thing with thousands of warriors, where you really need to use tactics/strategy and where...
i know it, i played it but i didn't like it that much because of the lack of battles and it isn't that military/politic, which i prefer, as rtw or mtw
i hope so, somewhere around the 18th century when britain, france, holland,... started to colonize the world and where it's important to dominate the seas and oceans, to have a good economy and well...

flanders was the economic center during the 12th-14th century (apart from italy in the south), if the middle ages would have had twin towers, they would've been in bruges or...

you can change the name of a settlement if you want, i do so sometimes. i take the general's last name that conquered/governs the town and add urbis to it, eg: julius urbis.
go to preferences.txt...
so far, i only lost one auxiliary legion to roman rebels due to a not so loyal general, but hey every one makes a mistake.
i only use generals with at least 3 loyalty to command a legion and put...
i'm from belgium and yes we do have the best beer(s) in the world
ps heineken is NOT belgian/drinkable
i usually conquer whole of africa, but i only keep the coastal towns. i take the inland cities as well, but i exterminate them, destroy all buildings and let them rebel. this way i create a buffer...
there's a difference between exterminating and destroying a city like the RTW manner and conquering a nation's national treasure. it isn't a real blow if you exterminate a city, especially when you...
i read this in an other mod (i think it was res gestea or EB), but i thought it would be a nice feature to add to SPQR.
each faction gets a 'treasury' in its capital (like some sort of tempel)...
in all the rome mods i played, i never had an army or general vanishing without a reason. however, i remember it occured to me once in the rome vanilla version when i had it for several weeks: i had...
as i read the messages which are posted here, i notice most of you have a lot of trouble defeating macedon. i must say, macedon is a tuff cookie, but i haven't had that much trouble defeating them....
i see those but what am i supposed to do with it?
and how do you edit the descr_building.txt? it looks all jibberish to me...
i just want to recruit legionnaires in the same cities as i can do now in SPQR (only 28) along with NAMED first cohorts....
i have another great battle story of which i'm a bit proud (actually it were 5 battles during one turn on the same spot)
(it happened some weeks ago)
in 182 bc i was campaigning in northern...
