Don't grasp at strawmen arguments. Just because an individual doesn't enjoy fantasy Total War games does not necessarily correlate to avoiding fantasy RPGs.
The Total War theme has typically been...
Anyone who has delved into Witcher 3 should be familiar with this fun mini-game.
It has just entered open beta and I'd highly recommend it!
Most of its gameplay mechanics has changed...
I understand that grand strategy games can be very intimidating at first, but once you get past the steep learning curve, they're very fun!
Playing Hearts of Iron is like jumping into the deep...
Nicely written, HumbleWarrior :) Very charming!
Well, good to know..
David Gibbins is the author who wrote Destroy Carthage, eh? I think that book is in the bargain bin at my local bookstore..
That being said, I hope that Attila will be an...
I agree, I'd say the voice acting in Rome 2 is definitely the worst in the series; the Barbarian voices are the worst offenders.
They should've kept Jeff Van Dyck to compose music for the game.
It looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing the preview.. how about some more sneak peeks of the Medieval section?
Already got mine preordered on Amazon.
I want to show my support for this idea as well.
There's already a music conversion mod that replaces R2's for R1. It'd be great to see the voice acting replaced as well.
The voices in the...
Well, that's unfortunate news.
Looks promising, but it is disgraceful that the features weren't implemented in Rome II.
Develop a phenomenal Medieval III and all will be forgiven, CA.
Nice preview. I plan to play as the Saxons in my first campaign as well.
The character portraits from the original Rome was perfect. I agree that the 3d portraits looks absolutely dreadful.
CA has certainly done a fantastic job with the game's atmosphere and set design. It's quite terrifying to explore the space station while you hear something crawling around in the ventilation system.
I just want to give kudos to Ubisoft's Valiant Hearts:The Great War. It's a point and click adventure game that does a fantastic job at exploring the major events of the First World War. Its art...
It's very likely to be Warhammer: Total War, but I'd prefer it to be Medieval III!!
It would be nice to see a BI2, but I get the feeling that the Emperor Edition is CA's final major patch for the game, and they'll now direct their efforts towards the TBA Total War title.
The changes for EE sounds promising, but will you also revamp the UI design? It's too bloated compared to Shogun II.
Romani first, then Makedonia or the Seleucids.
I've been playing Company of Heroes: Western Front Armies and occasionally Hearthstone.
I'm looking forward to Unity, hopefully Ubisoft won't delay the PC version again ... they probably will

Do yourself a favour and wait until it's 75% off (wouldn't be surprised if it reaches that price in the STEAM Winter Sale)
I can understand CA thinks that it's doing the community a favour by making it free for a limited time, but a faction pack is nothing. If they're as generous with a mini-campaign or expansion DLC,...
Out of all the Total War games I've played, I'd consider Rome II to be the worst. Empire is a tolerable game compared to it.
I've not had any performance issues, but gameplay features such as the...
So that's where the budget went.
5/10; Rome II is quite mediocre compared to Shogun 2.
I've recuited Julius Caesar, Gnaeus Pompey, Quintus Sertorius, and Lucius Vorenus.
It's a decent game, and could definitely be improved with patches.
Hah. After reviewing the list, that is quite awkward :laughter:
Do you guys have any recommendations for animes (movies/TV series) similar to the following?
I've been watching:
Naruto/Naruto Shippuden, Princess Mononoke, and Attack on Titan.
Interested...

If you read the fine print, it states that SEGA is considering it.
The game reminds me of Empire's buggy launch.
I suppose I'll try to fulfill the requirements of an achievement that requires me to declare war on every faction I encounter.
I thought Caesar collapsed near a statue of Pompey?
Game devs don't make manuals like they used to anymore... That being said, I'm sure everything will be covered via the in-game encyclopedia and tutorial.
