Agree with this in a general sense.
As a first choice I would really like to see something during the empire building parts of the nineteenth - ie Victoria Age, up to just before WW1, covering...

Shouldn't this be asked in the Mod Section?

Quite so. Trying to balance the research colleges (I only keep two) with Gentlemen, moving priests/preachers to the area needed or getting an agent to somewhere useful can be a rear pain, and time...
Doing a Miao Ying campaign currently, to pass the time. I'm about to hit turn 100. I've ignored the Rifts, closing them when they appear, and pursuing the consolidation of the the Cathy area.
...
Played almost all of the factions, most only a few turns.
Actually completed: (As I recall, it's been awhile since I played.)
Rome - Julii (several)
Octavian
Aurelian
Rise of the Republic -...
Agree with this. I still play the "unmodded" Empire from time to time and have no problems. Over 4800 hours so I am somewhat familiar with the bugs and issues the game does have.
Denying women's right to abortion is not an infringement on a persons personal right of freedom of choice per the Republican majorities in many areas. Science and medical neesd are being ignored in...
I like Rome II in the early stages of the campaign, along with a couple of the DLC updates. What really turns me off though is the crap you have to deal with with the other Roman factions. In a...
After not playing the game for a few years I decided to do a basic campaign (Julii) and see if I can get anywhere.
Things went swimingly for quite some time, as they had in the past. Italia,...
Was looking forward to having a good time playing an old game that didn't some of the problems the first release did. After about 30, maybe 45 minutes of struggling though the introduced...
Being somewhat bored I've decided to dip my toes once more into the breach and try to save and enhance the Roman Empire. (I've had my butt handed to me on a pewter platter five or six times already...
Interesting conversation. I didn't register for the free game because I'm not interested in having to contend with another gaming company keeping up with my playing habits. But, that is my personal...
Not going to sign up for Epic myself, but will reserve my thoughts on the game until it is available next year.
I seldom, very seldom, base my thoughts on a game on the basis of someone else's opinion. Once the game is finally on Steam I'll probably get it and check it out for myself.
Free or not I personally see know need to have to sigh into ANOTHER gaming platform to to play a game I was interested in. Lot of other stuff going on on. A year is not that big a bit of time...
Tough today today. Tinkering around on Youtube subscriptions I brought this one up. It it the spot.

Well, I'm a big fan of Patrick Stewart. His Star Track role was one of my personal favorites, and possibly the only reason I continued to watch the series when it first was presented. His return...
Very sad loss. Not many as good as he was.
Interesting changes. Too bad bad about the mod folks having to update their work. Life is a  sometimes.
Same here. I'd like to know what happened to having a game one can jump into and just kick some ass.
Trailer looks good, as does some of the posted info. As always, I'll wait until it comes out to see.
Nice trailer. Hope the game play matches.
I have to disagree. I've been wanting a game in this location and around this time frame for over 15 years. Game needs significant improvement in multiplayer but the single palyer side is very good...
The only problem I have with the game is finding enough time to play it.
Records all the way. It's the closest to the TW game format I like to play.
I've completed five or six campaigns in the game, including two Ultimate Victories. Run another five or seven through the first of the several victory conditions, and another ten or twelve where I...
Great thread. I'll see what I can find to add to it!
I'd like to see another one. ToB, with the lastest update is a great game.
I'm personally hoping it will be in an area not done before, though, with Three Kingdoms now coming out, they are fewer...
I'm personally hoping it will be in an area not done before, though, with Three Kingdoms now coming out, they are fewer areas left. One such place might be the Eastern Mediterranean BCE. Asia...
Yes. Get it.
Say what?
I think the game is worth it. The latest piece, Rise of the Republic, is very good. (I play without mods.)
I've got the Short Fame Victory several times, and the Long once or twice. Most of of the work getting there was through the Research Tree.
Fantastic game. Great campaign map, fantastic battle maps, lot of variety between faction groups. Love it!

Its the fumes from all the underground oil fields percolating up to the ground surface. It makes the Sand Mites go nuts and they start biting the unwary.
Agree with all the responses. It's an interesting game with a lot of flexibility for various play styles.
Liking this a lot.
Looks interesting but, as mentioned, looks a lot like a redo of the Viking Invasion in Medieval I.
Excellent recap of the site. :laughter:
