Hehe, that's funny. Some lines are hilarious.
"Fëanor was the mightiest and most talented of the elves, and also their biggest ."
"Fountains are delightful, not metal."

Nope, it's not the standard bearer (or the officers), it's the units.
The standard bearer has an ordinary vanilla 'fs_standard_bearer' skeleton, pikemen and halberds use the 'fs_thp_f_spearman'...
The Entwash had quite boggy river banks and was thus could only be forded at a few places. IIRC Shadowfax knew the ways across through the fens, but none of those could be traversed by a larger host.

How could I dare and stand up to Monty Python. :P

The tales collected and published by the Brothers Grimm never really were supposed to be "children's good night stories". In a way they are the continuation of the old sagas and myths. And neither...

ATM Aradan is quite inactive though. What's up with him anyway?
The Fellowship encounters a Troll in Moria. However, as there are now accounts of Orc holds south of Moria, I doubt that any Trolls would be found there.
@ 2: I tend to agree. It's not only a...

That Wolfhunters' abomination is way more crude than, and probably just as cumbersome as, the Axe... Just nitpicking, I won't complain about the tiny difference :P

I was actually thinking of simply making some chart and a new building browser that could be published in the forums. But whatever suits you best...
No, the Teleri of the Falas were considered Sindar.
They were called the Falathrim and strictly speaking they are not part of the group who called themselves the Eglath, the Forsaken, who had been...

Sometimes Christopher's ability to analyze and interpret his father's mythology amazes me.
Taking what he says into account, and I think he's completely right, this actually petty quarrel about some...

I was surprised to see that Cultic artillery has slightly higher attack than ordinary dúnedainic.
Also Rhovanion Axemen are painfully weak compared to Rhûn Axemen and their unit size is much...

This is definitely something that should be implemented. I'm sometimes quite lost guessing what a building does do.
Especially industries are often a guessing game: Should I build...
I'm not quite sure what you're up to. Maybe because I'm not that familiar with Elven traits atm
First of all,...

Aradan mentions lethality in the EDU Guide
These values are not used in FATW, however.
Sticky: Re: Bug Reports
Yes, having this issue, too. Same with Fanuidhol. And Dwimormountain is actually the worst, the book is invisible for me.

Don't worry, neither did the pink strangling Nazgûl G-string.

Swords of Harad :P

Plump helmet and Cave Wheat and a nice smoked cat ham sometimes. But anyway, food is negligible, basically all that a dorf needs he gets from the booze.
I noticed that generals get the wounded trait very, very often. My King has been wounded in battle about five times already. Last time it happens, not a single man got kiled, because the enemy fled...
Yeah, magma pumps for the dorfs!
They're also very useful to incinerate the damn tree huggers!
Hm, that's odd, a charge bonus of 11 isn't even that high...
I guess this is caused by the lack of the defensive bonus given by light_spear.

I'm pretty sure you're memory is deceiving you here. ;)
You must have misunderstood something or you're confusing them with another unit. There's nothing said about going berserk in their description, only that they're quite unreliable and ill-disciplined.
Sheesh, is that ugly! :P
No, not really.
It would work, but even now it's quite difficult to rout some enemy units. You'll take insane losses in the early stages. You can try of course. But honestly, VH campaing difficulty...
Yeah, but that's after so many turns, I usually got already bored by the campaign anyway. :)
Though it's always somewhat hurtful to see the RK or Rohan being overrun (which makes it hard for me to...

Speaking of bridges, I think "opening" the pass at the source of River Gladden would be nice. It should, of course, be guarded by an Orc-hold, but I guess you've run out of settlement slots.

I'm not certain how it'll finally work, but I do know that the team is planning to implement shadowing factions for the final release.
That means, armies will not just go rebel and stand around...
So, what's your point again? They ARE too powerful.
Also, if you play Tharbad, or Dale it doesn't really matter how many stacks Harad fields, but if you're the RK you'll just go nuts.
This could be reduced further by reducing Harad's population, so they won't have the manpower to recruit a full stack for Harad Footmen every turn -.-

Well, I'm sometimes worrying about my faction when I have three very old characters and a bunch of kids. I'm constantly short of FMs anyway, so if one of them dies (or is getting wounded what happens...

The problem here is that you also cannot see when a new guy comes of age. This is kinda frustrating.
I'll keep an eye on them during my campaign, but I'm fairly certain they outrun Dorwinion Watch and DoMaA.
But apart from that, the hat_stat shouldn't be that important in Dorwinion, Dale and Rhûn...

Yeah, well, with all those rings gone, the world became so dull, cold and grey.
You're right of course. I misunderstood your above statement.
Actually, the Halberdiers have astonishing stamina! They also move quite fast, and even considering I don't sent them into the...

Dude, he's after the weed!
Nice to see Dale actually doing something this time. What happened to all these provinces in the far south-east?
I'd say, while all these assumptions are ok, this will be something to do for the community. ;)
Though actually the first thing I'd do, is to give them an upgraded version of the Axemen. :P
Being an archer myself I can tell you that 26 arrows is quite a lot and you'll have a hard time storing them in a quiver. ;)
But yeah, considering that historically there was some time to prepare...
Yes, but Scouts have an axe and Riddermark Bowmen a sword (I think). While the axe might be credited for the higher charge bonus (certainly for infantry, but for cav?), the Bowmen ride a heavier...
