    There is a mod that removes a lot of unnecessary scripts that cause this. Not sure what the name is, but they have it Titanium and I believe it maybe in the SSHIP mod as well.

    No. Not quite. The units overhaul is really messed up, knights and longbowmen only showing up when you zoom in. Because of this it's not fun to play at all.
