Thanks for putting the clips up here.
Still waiting for videos of classic mode. I am not interested in Dynasty Warriors, thus I would simply skip the fantasy mode in this game.
These DLC warlords remind me of the Pirates and Raiders Culture Pack in Rome 2. Yeah, their rosters and culture should be a bit different from the other generic short-lived factions, but they will...
I would rather be Sima Yan and steamroll everyone else :laughter::laughter:
I bet the moves will be very limited and players will find duel repetitive and boring after maybe 10 to 20 battles:laughter:
How can armies go across Yangtze and Yellow River when there are no naval battles?
Let them get into a pier, show some animations like trade routes in previous games, and then the stack of army...
There were mod(s) that adjust the height and combination of body parts, so the soldiers don't look all the same as in vanilla. You can even see Romans are much shorter than the Germans with that...
I believe the mechanics can be twisted easily, just the developers keep overlooking it (after 5 years... or CA doesn't see this as a problem). AI army decided to retreat purely basing on the numbers...
It reminds me my Meroe's campaign (which had been completed like 2.5 years ago:rofls:) and my lovely mercenary African elephants!
Celtici would be my choice. A stack of Iberian Swordsmen is insane in the early campaign after "fire at will" was added.
Beating Lusitani before it rises is challenging in the early stage too....
why ask about Shogun 2 issue in Rome 2 section?:hmm:
Archers are my fav, but I usually use a mix of archers and slingers so to avoid my archers being wiped out by the opposition's slingers.
Great news!

I doubt the adjustments they made in Patch 17 were calculated. CA just change whatever changeable to pretend they still care about the game.:whistling
New Hellenistic Generals are welcome since I saw them more on the campaign map than the soldiers on the field which have been revamped by the previous mods.
Modders have already addressed most of these tweaks. Not to mention, there is even a custom traits mod for every faction ingame.
Forget it, bro!
There is already a similar topic in the modding section:

Among the 3 designated Greek States, I would take Sparta.
On battle level, Spartan roster may be abit plain as melee(sword/axe) infantry is absent, but you can get them via mercenary pool in the...
Thought modders have moved to Attila...
Great update. Thank you, Demokritos!:thumbsup2
Great job, KLAssurbanipal!
This ZOC issue is one of the flaws in game.
Btw, in the opposite situation, AI can get pass your ZOC and run away in front of your troops.
The new graphical lightings are just like the mod's name, EPIC!
Wish that you could add them into your lighting mod:thumbsup2
Thanks and +rep, ts8lemonade!
There used to be another cloud removal mod but it's outdated. I can finally get rid of those framerate eating clouds again!:thumbsup2
The first 60 turns are the most challenging for most of the factions. Once you get 2 provinces fully under control, it's just a matter of time for you to meet the victory conditions especially when...
Easiest way for the Spartans to establish trade routes: get Athenai at all cost.
Alternative way: lose Sparta (your initial capital) to another faction/ rebel.
Great mod, this can spice up the campaign!
Good to hear that!Keep up!!
Good to hear this! I am downloading the mod right now:thumbsup2
Great to see another piece of masterworks! Will there be a reskin only version?
But in the recent versions, routing units may make the comeback after a short while which make the battles more dynamic.
Only activating this mod?
I have fought several port battles and the units can disembark without any problems.]
Are you using some other battle mod(s)?
You can simply save your 2nd General standing outside the settlement by "disband" the unit. The General will teleport back to your capital and be available for duty again in the next turn.
The non steam link at #1 is still working and no update is needed. The mod is working with the current patch.
As mentioned above, AI factions get more Public Order bonus in higher campaign difficulty. Thus, it is very difficult to decrease the PO of a stable AI province/settlement to -100.
Waiting for the update of Reskin-only version:clap:
Thank you very much for the update!! Now I can start my new grand campaign:)
Большое спасибо.
Hi, Luntik!
Will there be an update? The main BAI mod is not working with the current patch.:(

Thank you! Thank you very much for the release of Varietas version!
