    @ MarKusDib: Different factions require different playing styles. I assume you tried Vikings first, which are the most demanding, due to their different religion. Mercia is a much more 'normal' RTW...

    Not sure I understand what you mean here. If I am, then your suggestion won't do much. When it comes to AI targetting, LoS only means a clear path to the enemy settlement, not actual vision.

    Campaign difficulty level makes AI factions more aggressive and likely to gang up on the player. Medium difficulty's diplomacy is quite better.

    @ Wambat: Battle difficulty is not tied to campaign...
