    Re: Missile Unit Range Cone/indicator

Would removal affect AI also? Because to me it seems, AI knows exactly when it is in range of my archers or javelins and will advance after getting in the conve of fire, even though I haven't...

    Re: Fighting Pikemen

I agree. Although after the combat goes gory hack n' slash in the most hectic part, I think the formations could overlap a bit representing the fighting for survival part of the battle. At least for...

    Re: R2TW: Attila

Indeed, those crossbowmen are force to be recon with. And AI likes to stack those 3-6 on the army. If you don't have strong and fast cavalry, you are doomed! Also most of the niddle-europe is in...

    Re: R2TW: Attila

    Soooo, anyone played yet?

I have and have to say I am positevly suprised about the condition of this release. Haven't encountered bugs so far and the gameplay is pretty fun, although bit...

  8. Sticky: Re: Rome II Total Realism Bug Thread

As I said, I did bring those in the Italy province and couldn't upgrade. Or do I have to go literally inside city of Rome to upgrade?
  9. Sticky: Re: Rome II Total Realism Bug Thread

I cannot upgrade my Hastatis, Principes and Triariis to the next evolution. It complains about not having the proper equipment to upgrade the unit, but the case is same even in Italy.

    Re: Cultural Disorder

IT does make expansion quite slow and bit annoying with Rome when Brundisium is in constant disorder until you can conquer sicily to get rid of hellenic and punic culture pressures. You can't get...

    Re: Wrath of Sparta

Is there any must-have features (affecting grand campaing) that come with the dlc that arent included with the patch? I've been wondering if I should get this, even though the campaing is not what...
  12. Re: How to deal with Bruttii and Etrusci vassals?

I've found Brutii specially useful as homeland defence force. They usually have at least one full stack on Italia Peninsula and quite effectively defend the are from random rebels and even small...

    Re: [SUBMOD] Supply System (Alpha)

Ok, I have to say don't like that particular feature. I've always tought that the winter season food is from the granaries from the summer. I don't think that feature fits well on the Total war...

There is still that fluxuation on the food in the campaing on both versions (vanilla & RTR2). It jumps on every winter from positive to negative.

    Re: Supply System (Alpha)

As I said, I understand the winter campaing-thing, but as you said it feels bit wierd on 2tpy. Perhaps 4tpy will give it more meaning, 6tpy would be best I think as you would have two winter turns.

  30. Sticky: Re: Rome II Total Realism Bug Thread

I was wondering if this is an "bug" or really an feature, but here goes:

I've had some weird (to me) cases where my units tend to rout for no obvious rational reason. Last case was, when I was...

  33. Re: Rome II Total Realism CCLXXII.BC Campaign (Beta 1.9230814)

So, can't recruit even those early units from occupied provinces? I have to build armies in Italia and aux/barracks are more or less useless before the fix? Just to make things clear. :)
  34. Re: Rome II Total Realism CCLXXII.BC Campaign (Beta 1.9230814)

Like the new concept of slingers! They have been more or less useless in vanilla and that suppress system will make them indeed tactically valid units. Nice!
