Has anyone else noticed that campaigns are siege heavy now? I love it. If you are using BGRIV, you really have to plan ahead of time. When faced with a significant garrison, the amount of casualties...
Nothing happens, just regular politics. Anyway next time bite the bullet and do it. Stop waiting for reassurance from others that everything will be ok.

I just did a quick play through, and yes they do simulate the Third Crusade, and Venice shows up for the 4th Crusade.

I know those generals are in the edu, but I don't recall them appearing in the campaign.

The campaign starts in 1174. Getting to flesh out factions. Maybe look to Broken Crescent as a resource. It sounds like a great idea... as long as those other mini campaigns get released.

I would play it as well.
I'm being nitpicky, but the 2nd Battle of Vienna was literally the end of the Ottoman expansion in Europe and as an Empire. This supports that the Janissary were not at their peak. Consider that...

After watching an extensive amount of "Kings and Generals" and other historical battle channels on Youtube I'm beginning to think that the Janissary Heavy...
The campaign now works after the fix. However, France's color on the map is the same as HRE. Also, the zoom in and zoom out buttons for the maps on the campaign are not present.

Mine just finished.
Are you going to pin the thread?
In the High Campaign that already exists, the Teutonic Order already has regions, so that's one less thing you have to do. :)
Aren't his units already in Broken Crescent? Couldn't you just port them over before changing the animations? k/t made an RR/RC 2.0 (earlier version) Broken Crescent submod with a few twists. It...
This never bothered me. I just sacked their cities by sea and abandon the settlements leaving 1 weak unit to slow them down. Then I repeat the process again until the enemy is bankrupt.
Can you prioritize settlements?

Crusades should still be present in the 1370 campaign. Crusades in this period occurred against the Ottomans, and were significant campaigns until the 16th century. However, the area where crusades...
The entire Ottoman series is awesome. I never knew about Skanderbeg until I watched that episode. I am becoming thoroughly convinced that scouting your enemy and the territory, knowing multiple...

If you load the Late Era Campaign files then go to data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign then open "descr_events". Each event is added to the year 1220 and tells you when the event occurs. Then...

FYI in the upcoming RC2.0 release I have included an optional sub-mod that can be selected at game start-up called 'Extended Combat'. It reduces the melee, missile weapon...
We all make mistakes. What you said makes sense in the real world. Also, a reason you can build equipment greater than your total infantry is that you could always reinforce your army with more...
You're misremembering.

You can only bring as much equipment as infantry units. It's hardcoded.

In modern scenarios, even when people know the horses won't charge them, particularly in films and tv shows, men panic. So it is right on point that people's heartrate's rise when charged by cavalry....
The AI responds pretty well in Late Era. I'm looking forward to seeing the new performance with the army advancing with the Musketeers.
It is not possible to script future born characters. Characters can appear via a script but they usually won't be part of the family tree.
