    Re: New Mod

The current setup relies on the attachment system, which has pretty strict limits on the size of what is allowed to be uploaded. I would like to be able to change the system so that it can either...

One member downloading the mod X time still only counts as 1 download.

Not sure if can be enabled on a per forum/thread basis.

[VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: [Medal] Halie Satanus for Divus

I'm fairly sure it never saw the light of day as CdeC approval was not granted. After much digging, and going through CdeC page by page, the link to the previous nomination is here. Only those with...

Support, this is long overdue, by about 6 years or so.

    Re: Tapatalk out of date

The tapatalk plugin for vb4 has been updated to version 5.2.0. I'm still not sure why the vb4 plugin now is in version 5 but meh.

    Re: New Mod

That's also one of the directions I'd like to take it is to use it for tools and tutorials.

Currently it just links with the attachment system and not the downloads system, which is pretty...

Try again, there were some usergroup setting which either weren't mentioned in the install or I just missed that weren't set for regular members. If it works it should up between the Add Comment and...

Marking it as installed means you get notified that the mod has been updated by the developer. To mark it as installed click the "Mark as Installed" on the right side of the OP.

It has nothing to do with hosted mod or not, but rather is the mod contained in a forum, such as your (sub)mod or contained in a thread. Currently the feature supports and can easily be adapted for...

Yes that's exactly what it is, with the addition of a customized display.

Could work, maybe see if we can get other suggestions as well.

Not likely because rep has to be linked to a specific...

    Re: New Mod

As I noted above this works using the existing forum/thread structure, as such each mod thread is owned by one mebmer, me for this particular mod, so when you're repping the mod in actuality you are...

It has to have that file if they have a functional campaign for M2TW. What error are you actually getting?
  21. Re: [Amendment] Open Prothalamos to posting by Full Members

CdeC is dead and gone and directly it doesn't relate to it directly. But as an example the CdeC commentary has relevance since the example is still shows ideas not being listened to, not because they...
  22. Re: [Amendment] Open Prothalamos to posting by Full Members

To make a comparison. You were saying that the opinion would be listened to if it was posted in the curia commentary. My response was just like CdeC listened to what citizens were saying in the CdeC...
  23. Re: [Amendment] Open Prothalamos to posting by Full Members

Because that isn't the place for it, the FM is a workshop, in theory anyways, not a place for proposals. That's IMO of course.

Of course because the similar CdeC commentary thread was already...
  24. Re: [Amendment] Open Prothalamos to posting by Full Members

If someone were to dig way back in the annals at some point in the past I'd proposed, I think pre FM days but I'm not sure, to just move the proth to the Q&S (which I'd prefer over the FM), it failed...
  25. [VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Decision] Give full members a custom user title

I would oppose due to the spam this would create. Look at how new members, if they inquire, are told to spam the TD to get to 25 posts to get edit, poll, etc privileges making them get to 2000 would...
  26. [VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Decision] Give full members a custom user title

Except that no one who's opposed has actually provided any proof that people contribute to the site in order to get a custom usertitle. I'd hazard a guess that most contribute, or at least have their...
  27. Re: [Decision] Smileys in the Vestigia Vetustatis

That overlooks three important things. First a forum ban could still be issued for repeated violation of the VV forum rules, this does happen in some other forums on the site. Second, indirectly it...

  29. [VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Decision] Give full members a custom user title

  31. [VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Decision] Give full members a custom user title

    Support.

That's all well and good except it overlooks one thing, if want of a user title prevents at least one person from joining or staying than whatever benefit you've gained per your post...
  32. Re: [Decision] Smileys in the Vestigia Vetustatis

I think the spirit of the decision is to disallow the use of smilies in the VV, pannonian presented one solution, though as you alluded to there are others. I'm also not sure that prevents users from...
  33. Re: [Decision] Smileys in the Vestigia Vetustatis

Support, especially for the VV. If you can't express yourself clearly without using smilies especially in the context of discussions which are supposed to be of a more serious nature . . .
  34. Re: [Amendment] Open Prothalamos to posting by Full Members

That's all part of what is, or at least used to be, the standard welcome to the curia letter the curator writes to all new citizens.

  39. [Tool] Re: The ToolBox - The 'Universal' Batch File v1.0 (Steam-Compatible)

My guess is the problem is likely related to the virtual store, if you try and alter (i.e. add the bat) to the program files directory it will actually place the bat in the virtual store. So when it...

[Tutorial] Re: How to disable autoresolve for the player

If my memory servers me, the script command auto_win attacker sets a flag so that the next auto resolved battle gets resolved in favour of the attacker's side.
