    Re: Azeroth Total War

Menethil Harbour isn't officially dwarven but with them being the only ones in a real position to be able to reinforce it easily then I'd say it would be de-jure theirs.
  2. Re: They should do more with general speeches.

Medieval 2 and Rome are still the kings of general speeches. Especially when you got an evil drunkard crusader whom hates saracens and loves impaling people. The Scottish ones were always a bit too...

Re: Warhammer will be next but what then?

If it was to be chinese history I do hope it is during the warring kingdoms periods. Anything later would be rather.. Eh. Slow.

Re: Contribute an Unit Description for MKTW!

They'll really hammer that victory home.
  6. Re: Why is total war series oversizing the environment?

As HigoChumbo said it is to do with scales. If the trees were real-world sized then control would be near impossible for you in a tactical perspective.

Sticky: Re: What book are you currently reading?

Currently reading a thoroughly interesting book on spartan history, culture and society called "The Spartans: An epic history" by Paul Cartledge. Very interesting and well written.
  13. Re: [book] Zones of Control - Perspectives on Wargaming

This one sounds rather interesting, will give it a try!
  14. Re: Why are game stores like steam and PSN so terrible to navigate through?

Steam is filled by indie, early-access, anime and old trash games mainly because it is profitable for companies to throw them in there due to Steam's poor automated systems.
  15. Re: The Witcher (I, II, III) - CD Projekt RED games

At least you can say that each of the combat systems are unique and try for something different. Not just the same thing over and over like any shooter out there.

Re: New appreciation for this game...

I've gained far more appreciation for this game after I was able to start playing an Aksum campaign. Going with the Carthage strategy of hugging the coastline has allowed me to seize full control of...
  17. Re: Mount&Blade 2: Bannerlord Confirmed [Interview with dev. Singil page 20]

So very hyped for Bannerlord! Not as much for the base game but for the mods that will (hopefully) come with it. For that is the greatness that is Mount and Blade, its mods!
  18. Re: Events that never happen unless you do them yourself

Maharatas actually appeared in my latest EU4 campaign due to being released from the Bahmanis by Delhi. They grew quite nicely.

Judean empire is the only one of these I have never seen happen,...

Female heirs can be some of the most stable and prosperous ones you can have! Whilst the minus modifiers from your vassals whilst she is your heiress is rather poor, once she becomes the ruler those...

    Re: Navarre/Navarra Start for a CK2 newbie

The only real strategy for a new player in CK2 starting with such an exposed nation as Navarra would be the exile strategy, unless you got amazingly lucky with alliances. To your north there are the...
